This was one of my first time playing my alt shaman in a key, so I have a lot to improve on but i still felt like i was a spectator in this one, just watchin the tank and dps do their thing. I saw a comment here saying to think about using hex more, and using reincarnation as a failsafe on some dangerous mechanics. Those are great tips!!! tank maluco is like "bad tank" and the kkkkkkk is how brazilians players type "hahahaha" or "lmao".

They failed a 2 because their dps is god awful. they had alot of deaths, but their dps is 130k, 80k, and 80k. They can't manage things with that level of dps on a 2 tyrannical. When they can't kill it fast enough, they have to live on mechanics and they aren't doing mechanics either.

It's good to see people trying out M+ even this late in the expansion. You can tell they only have a surface level understanding of the dungeon, and tank is making small pulls like he isn't comfortable pulling more, or doesn't think he can survive more. People are using defensives and kicks, just missing the fear when alot of stuff happened. Also those Rothexers are brutal with a shaman healer and no disease dispels.

You have two shamans, probably the best class for dispelling poisons with poison cleansing totem and 0 poisons were dispelled throughout the dungeon. The withering contagion (the circle that spreads) didn't get dispelled and the damage was bad, tank also seemed clueless (was standing in the circle on the last boss).

The funny thing is, you will still see DPS like this in +10 and higher, not playing any mechanics, ignoring some of their abilities, doing less than 200k damage overall, either getting boosted for free or destroying someones key. I'd like to have something like the Proving Grounds for Mythic + where you would be forced to actually play mechanics and use your abilities and only once you pass the test you will be able to do higher keys.

My biggest take away is the grp stuck it out.

reasons for failing i guess: obviously the fail pulls ( no matter the key level ) and the wipes after that - it just costs too much time. Not only the seconds it takes from the timer but especially the way you have to make back there. And then maybe the group comp, they have okayish cc and exceptional kicks with the 2 shams but missing out a CR can often cost you either a full wipe or a lot of time - like the death on the 3rd boss, they miss a lot of dmg with one DPS dead on the ground for the majority of the fight. But, not much harassing which is a nice change to see :D. The tank just has to play the key more often and then it should be a breeze.

sup dude. you recently came across my algorithm and i love the channel. my only thing in the past couple videos, you comment on the in players chatbox, but it's kinda difficult to see at times... you think you could edit a zoom on the text you're referring to? i think it would add some neat space to the video and also easier for us to keep track as well

tbh i expect 2s this late in the game to kinda always be around this. you could tell the tank was new to it (and no disrespect or shame was rather refreshing.) tho i think at the end honest feedback without being a douche would be helpful for him. cuz if he enjoys it and learns from it he will keep playing and u like to see it

There are a lot of small things that contributed to the over time timer but there are a few things each player probably could have done to offset it. Tank could have a better route. That is, while still going the exact same path, they could group the mobs better, avoid pulling unnecessary things and position the last boss closer to the totem so there is less down time switching targets. Dps could be more in range of a healer in some of those trash pulls. They could be more aware of their positioning compared to the traps and other mobs. They could focus more on targets so that the pressure of damage intake could be lessened or in the case of a wipe risk, targeting the patrol mob could save time after the wipe as you wont need to re do the pull. The extra reset mobs were never important to the count and so directing damage into them isnt too helpful unless it possible to survive the over pull. The healer could probably dispel more but I could be mistaken on what shamans can and can’t dispel. If a pull is looking like a lost cause, it’s better to just die and reset than to drag it out for no reason. Maybe some casters could have been hexed? And knowing the last boss, the self revive could be intentionally triggered early. Stacks getting high, drop em and come back to poor hps into the group without as much worry about needing to also keep their self alive. Plan around the class tool kit and the dungeon based on the expected difficulties shown by the group from earlier encounters. If everyone did a little of something they could have saved the 7 minutes over with fewer wipes or at least controlling what is gained in the wipe.

A of mechanics don't matter at +2 because mobs die before anything becomes an issue. That stops being true when you are doing Season 1 levels of damage in Season 4 as this group is. 60k Single Target and 120k AOE is what your average heroic raider was doing in VOTI 2 years ago.

Glad to see they finished. Unfortunate they didn't have at least one seasoned person in their group to help guide them. At least with the routing and boxx mechs. But they still finished and hopefully learned a bit. DPS was low but it doesn't matter, if they didn't make the mistakes they did, they would have timed the key. So hopefully they do better next time, and learn more about their classes along the way. I just want to point out, on the last boss of BH, range, you can stand on the rock and hit any totem, and never be hit by the cloud if you hug the wall. You only need to hop off when the AoE burst goes out so you don't kill anyone you are stacked with. Standing still up there will allow you 100% DPS uptime instead of constantly kiting around the cloud.

Really sloppy run but at least they all stuck together and got the job done. Id say there was a few problems in this key such as low dps, lack of understanding certain mechanics, the tank seems fairly new to tanking and unsure when to pull larger and when not to. Shamans first death was fantastic btw.

Tank was new to the dungeon if not tanking in general , and the DPS was not trying very hard to avoid AOE's and other mech. Good to see them atleast go for completion and not get super toxic and disband. We all gotta start somewhere i guess.

I'm learning that when I tank pug 2s, i need to be ready to coach people on mechanics. I can't solo certain encounters, the way i could earlier in the expansion.

their dps is .. well good enough for that, ive run higher keys with worse dps and still timed it, people have no clue what they are saying here their main problem was that they played every single yard in that dungeon completly sloppy

it's always so hard for me to learn mechanics of M+ dungeons so much stuff to learn and every one that plays wow is a elitest jerk that gets mad at the smallest things

i mean there is always a checklist right? : dps is good ? how many deaths? proper usage of hero? if yes to all those then route must be the issue. or the pull sizes :P we cant go WEEEE on 2 mobs hehe.

What constantly blows me away is that all a player needs to do is just watch videos on the dungeons. Routing matters but a lot less than previous expansions, but it’s important for tanks to follow a consistently used route because the tank controls the flow of the dungeon. When your group knows the next pull they’re better prepared for it

when i saw the title i legit thought it was going to be your +2 from stream.

Most important is that they killed the final boss, eventually. They all seemed underprepared together, maybe it be character/mechanical related or both. Healer did fine.

I picked up tanking after healing to ksm but took a break. And realised I didn't really know the routes well. I did a bit of research then thought I will jump in azure +2 to test the route. Everything seemed to go well. Then the boss with the adds I was paralysing them so I could run over coz nobody was interrupting or even hitting them. Anyway we wiped on every single boss except the ice one. Last boss we wiped 4 times. 5th try everyone dies but me and a dps. We solod like the last 25 percent... 35 mins past time. I was very disheartened thinking I contributed somehow. Next day I ran it again and + 2d it with zero deaths. I think dps numbers make such a diff, then their mechanical knowledge also makes it crazy different. Tanking with a bad group is an extra affix. I honestly think mechanics in heroics and normals have made it so people literally think they can just run and dps every dungeon in a casual way. Like I have done all them now and in most i have been in the top 3 dps on my brew in every key... We even had a lock die on every pull almost, doing miniscule dps. Left at the hill parts on nokhud... one of the dps goes doesn't matter he wasn't doing any dps anyway, and we time it... I think there needs to be more learning moments in wow. It doesn't teach new people much. I imagine someone starting and thinking oh ill try being an enhancement shaman... they sound cool.. then they bumble through gear and think I'll do mythic plus coz I heard it's better gear. Then they do healer damage or less... and the key bricks. Idk of a solution shy of say the old system in mop I think where you had to prove you could dps heal or tank. But it should be more extreme and that would unlock higher keys... idk

main cause of not upgrading this, very very low dps. about 200k overall less dps then some 2's i did last night.

Pathing, pacing and unnecessary deaths are ofc big contributors to not timing it. But regardless of that i think it just comes down to inexperience with their classes as well. The Toxic Trap the Shaman died to before first boss, to me looked like a lack of spatial awareness. Because it looks like he was using some sort of back flip ability, coz those traps does not knock someone anywhere. I don't even consider most of these mistakes any real "catastrophic" events, maybe just the wipe with the charge in on the Warscourge which resulted in chain pulling a bunch of Rothexxer mobs right before the entrance to the last boss area as that is a really rough spot to die on considering the resurrection check point?

This is such a easy fix, just have someone make videos (meaning some guy already making videos, right?) for every mechanic and interrupt in all the dungeons for every single language in the world, Voila! Then convince everyone that normally just "wings it" to watch them all. Or God forbid read the dungeon journal once, Gasp!

I know comp is irrelevant in +2 but when you triple-stack shammy and double-stack warrior, probably the 2 worst utilities in the game atm, you're kinda asking for trouble even in a +2

people jump into keys without knowing what to do thinking *its only +2* trying to excuse it as 'oh it wont be that hard' and 'it doesn't matter if i don't know mechanics, we cant fail a +2 key its easy' and like we saw here then it is a failed key. people get carried on lower keys and don't have the opportunity to actually learn, then these players jump into higher keys where you have to pull your own weight and they are totally clueless. it is actually shocking disbanding in any keys especially in higher keys due to someone not knowing mechanics and ignore affixes like how these people get so far in the first place. they have score and gear but no clue about the dungeon.

People dont know mechanics. Dps is a liittle low, yes, but in a +2, thats rarely the issue. People not killing totem that spawns during the gauntlet and the dot just starts wrecking people, people standing in shit, people pulling unnecessary shit, people dying to the hyenas or whatever they are on boss, people taking stacks of debuff on last boss, its just a lot of factors. But its good blizz made the keystone squish cause now it forces people to learn mechs early on. If they fail, they will not time key. Its simple.

All +2's now are just garbage keys... basically its the most pointless level of keys to enter because no one gives a monkeys butt about them. Every +2 i have attempted especially early on but still happens when i play an alt is that you basically get a group you finally get into they key after what could be hrs sitting and spamming groups only for 1 of 2 things happen. 1. you have a couple deaths and the group falls apart. 2. You have people who die and wipe constantly but you finish the key but over timing it/just a tank who is slow pulling. The biggest problem with this is my alts cant get out of it. like back before i could easily get my alts into 8-12s where i usually stayed anyways but now getting any of my alts out of doing +2s is almost impossible. i cant get invited to higher keys due to my ilvl but then i cant increase my ilvl cause i cant complete a +2 that took me 2 hrs+ to even get accepted... its like a double negative and it makes me hate this season so freaking much i almost just wanna completely walk away from wow.

Recently I disbanded in a 2 because an augmentation evoker wasn’t happy enough with my pulls that I was doing when I was a vengeance dh noobie tank that was just trying to get better at tanking and do 2’s to practice more, but my pulls were literally not even that bad man.. I’d never pull the tiniest pulls ever because that’s just boring but then again, I couldn’t do big ass pulls that I’d like to do, because I’m just not experienced enough for that yet. Anyways, the Asshole Aug-voker decided to call me the worst tank they’ve ever came across Bc I pull 3 mobs at a time apparently. We didn’t even get to the first boss yet, so it’s like ??? Damn bro,maybe at least give me a little longer before you judge me that hard lmao..and shouldn’t we be going easier on tanks in baby keys? Smh.
