Never experienced the Dyna wobble either, late model dyna frames handle better than the early models. 2015 fxdb... only issue I had was a little bit of flex during higher speed sweepers, fork brace fixed it 100% BUT I also upgraded my suspension and motor mounts (sputh kit) as soon as I got the bike.

I have an 09 super glide and havent had any wobble yet. But i think it would be obvious that the newer dynas are going to be the best ones. couldnt agree with you more on this one.

Hold on to that one man - It really does just feel like in some cases, some of them inherently have the wobbles, and some just don't 🤷‍♂️

@@FXDLSBrooklyn Definitely, I still plan to stabilize it with a aftermarket motor mount, sputhe stabilizer and better suspension. I wanna be able to rip around without thinking about that shit

Love my ‘17 FXDLS. Stock suspension sucks but the chassis is solid. Have an FXR and it’s basically a different Sportster imo.

I've been deep into researching and scrolling used dynas online for a year now. I've shrunk it down to either a late model fxdl or an fxdls and I honestly see just as many s's for sale as I do dl's. But the fact that you mentioned zero dyna wobble on the s may have just solidified what I'm going to buy...just have to fork over a few extra g's

I have a ‘12 Street Bob and have never got the Dyna wobble, even with stock suspension and motor mounts. I think the Dyna wobble is more of an early model issue that was worked out on the ‘06 and up models.

Not really. I had an 08 and felt it more on that one than on my 01 FXDX. I think it comes down to maintenance and how old your motor mounts are. Of course there are a lot of other things that can play a part in this.

Yeah after doing motor mounts on my S, I think they are an extremely underrated upgrade for the dyna platform - I would like to think that a proper set front and back could potentially solve the issue without having to run a stabilizer or dampener

I think even these days with prices going up, that's one of the biggest win of the entire platform - You can still cop one used, run an exhaust, bars, and seat and away you go

I understand corporate restructuring and each CEO thinking ten years in advance as well as each CEO subliminally wiping the past CEOs legacy clean but I agree with most that the Dyna was given up on to abruptly and didn't get the factory support that it deserved, given the many different manners that Dyna owners have customized them. It would have taken minor retooling to have put the M8 in the Dyna chassis and the Sportglide bags and any number of fairing options could have created a light touring option that would have been extremely welcomed at any point in Dyna history. Here's to hoping the corporation loses that habit of giving up on a legacy line and continues to improve the bikes that obviously their customers love.

For real - I'm caught in a weird position on that one, because I do believe the ST legitimately will outperform the dyna platform - I think the transition would have been smoother if they had the M8 Low Rider S and ST at the ready the moment they killed the line - However, there is just no replacing that line of bikes, even with their faults

07 DB, defo used to get the wobbles bad but FXR motor mounts were the real game changer.... engine stabilizer helped a tiny bit Update on FXR.. it's it fixed?

Absolutely man, those mounts can make a big difference - FXR, ahh well that's a whole other story - Was trying to get it up and running for the East Coast FXR Jam, but just wasn't happening - The plan is to rebuild it stronger, faster, and better ⚡️

I love my FXDL but I do get a bit of wobble up around 105-110. Don’t wanna push it cause I’d like to not wreck my bike going that fast 😂

At what speed does this wobble hit. I have a 2003 Dyna Lowrider and have never experienced this and pray I never do. 😮.

So for me, it has always been at high speeds in swooping curves, especially if you hit irregularities in the road - It’s truly sketchy and never gets any less terrifying when it happens 💀

try 80-90 miles leaning over mines the same. ohlins in the rear, fully adjustable fxdx front end, engine stabilizers and steering damper but every now and then I still get one. Mines pretty good for the most part now, but always weary.

Dyna wobble is just owners not keeping to the proper maintenance schedule. Never had a Dyna wobble, ever! Owned 2.

Is there anybody here who has ever had the Dyna wobble on the newest Dyna even once? Do the 2016s just not wobble? I was going to go softail to avoid the wobble, but if I didn't have to, I would save some money and get a late Dyna.

So my 2016 Dyna never had the wobble - The new M8s WILL NOT wobble under any circumstance I have put them through at this point - I would honestly tell you to go with a new M8 S

I'm seriously running on an 05 wide glide with the factory tires still on it. 18 year old tires! 21 thousand on the odo. Dry rot got me. I'm still riding it back and forth to work, to lunch, to pay the bills and lately to cycle gear to get new tires. My rear is spit down the middle. My front tire is split along one side of the tread. Basketballs right now. Point being, DO NOT DO WHAT IM DOING. ITS VERY DANGEROUS. That being said, shout out to Dunlap tires.

Ehh owning and putting miles on both my FXR and Dyna, I appreciate them as two different entities - However, it is undeniable that those of us who have ran custom dyna builds were heavily influenced by the FXR
