Hey, Guys! Did you know that Singapore isn't just a city; it's a whole vibrant country?
This is not our first time visiting this destination. We touched down here back in 2015 when Julia celebrated her 50th country, and now she’s on country #100. Incredible right?
We did so much in Singapore, but before we dived in, we spiced things up with some delicious Mexican food. After indulging in Thai cuisine for the past 10 days, it was a delightful change.
Our adventure began at the colossal Shoppes at Marina Bay. This shopping haven is home to luxury brands, and it's so massive that you might need a map! Actually, you certainly do. 🛍️
Next we ascended to the SkyPark Observation Deck to give you a bird’s view of the beautiful Marina Bay. It was such an incredible feeling because it was almost entirely empty, giving us the feeling we had the place to ourselves.
And before we go any further, let's give a shoutout to SAFETY WING for supporting our worldwide travel adventures! SafetyWing offers hassle-free travel insurance for digital nomads and travelers. Whether you forgot to purchase insurance or need to extend your current coverage while traveling, SafetyWing has you covered.
Their one-account system even allows you to include family members and children. Plus, it's incredibly affordable, costing about a third of what you might pay elsewhere. It covers medical emergencies, repatriation, and lost luggage. Travel with peace of mind - we highly recommend SafetyWing! Scan the QR code for more information.

Thanks for having our backs, Safety Wing!
And then, for something completely different - a boat ride right in the middle of a shopping center! Yes, you heard that right; we were inside the Shoppes, and it was a testament to its massive size.
After walking over 10,000 steps in the Shoppes, our journey continued. We were off to explore the enchanting Gardens by the Bay, a green oasis in the heart of the city. These gardens are home to the iconic Supertree Grove, vertical gardens that lit up the night sky.
Even a quick stop at McDonald's in Singapore felt fancy, much like everything else here. The flavors, the vibes - it was a touch of luxury amidst our adventures.
Finally, we wrapped up the day with a mesmerizing night view of the Bay Gardens. You won't want to miss this sight. As the cityscape transformed into a sea of sparkling lights, we found ourselves lost in Singapore's evening magic.
Stay tuned for more episodes as we explore Singapore's wonders further. Don't forget to subscribe and join us on our journey!

CITY OF THE FUTURE - DID YOU SAY ? Ordinary folks hardly visit MBS ! They can't afford . Singapore, my home , is already a cosmopolitan city . Hopefully the influx of East Asians will not tarnish its image .

Esta ciudad es super limpia y Moderna. Me encanta. No hay tiroteos como en EEUU, o drogadictos como en El occidental, o gente borrachos o sin Hogar. Hay que ser rico para vivir en Singapore 🇸🇬.

I loved visiting Singapore. First place I went after the pandemic ended. The Hawker centre's food was amazing. Favourite was the Oyster fritters at the Chinatown Hawker centre. Also the transport by train is so cheap. Loved the two domes on the water front. Jacinda had opened a new exhibit in the one with the man made waterfall prior to my arrival.

That’s right. Can you imagine that the same day we arrived Jacinda had also come through the airport to do the inauguration. It was so cool!

Welcome: "Selamat Datang", to you in "South East Asia" to my hometown of Singapore 🇸🇬. How are you: "Apa Khabar". Hope 🙏 you are doing fine. Thank You: "Terima Kasih", for visiting my country and hope 🙏 you enjoyed your stay here. My race is Malay and that's why i greet you in my mother tongue language. Singapore 🇸🇬 also known as the Garden City, is not your typical South East Asia city that you have visited i.e. Thailand🇹🇭, Philippines 🇵🇭, Malaysia 🇲🇾, Indonesia 🇮🇩, Vietnam 🇻🇳, Cambodia 🇰🇭, Myanmar 🇲🇲 or even Brunei 🇧🇳. A combination of Modern Architecture surrounded by old British 🇬🇧 colonial buildings with lush foliage on the skyscrapers. Very westernized and contemporary yet still preserve the old rustic looks of old village settings. The price of accommodation and food tends to be on the pricey side if you dine on a mostly touristy flank. Go to hawker centers for cheaper options in Singapore 🇸🇬. There is plenty of it here and to approximate is beyond comparison. Singapore 🇸🇬 is where the East meets the West.

Thankfully only a small number of Singaporeans are Malay and your religion is irrelevant. English is the language of Singapore.

Singapore had role to play in India's independence. Indian National Army was formed in 1942 under Rash Behari Bose by Indian POWs of the British Indian Army captured by Japan in the Malayan campaign and at Singapore. Rash Behari handed over INA to great Subhas Chandra Bose. he set up provisional government for free India in Singapore. then started the war of indian independence from the British. it was one of the most Epic battle with very little help from the Japanese. after Japan surrender at the end of world war 2 the battle of INA also ended and the soldiers were captured by British army. Brits decided to conduct a public trial on 3 commanders of Ina-Dhillon, Sahgal, Khan. as the news of Netaji with his Army fought against the British spread the entire British Indian Navy revolted in 1946. because of this already weakened British army because of WW2 could not hold onto India and they left in 1947. in 1956 when British pm Clement Attlee came to India then Bengal Governor asked him why British leave India. to which Attlee replied that the role played by Netaji army was paramount for India's Independence.
