Been playing the same Hunter since late vanilla :D almost done w Argus. Cannot wait to make a warrior holy Draenei. Rp that he just cant use the light’s power since birth so he became a warrior :D where should he grow up? (Do questing at starting out)

Hard to take any of that seriously when Warriors are far and away the most healer-dependent tanks.

Every time someone talks about peak class design from expansion or tier XYZ, I always think back to a project that was made in Legion/BFA for Frost Mages. It's still around, and it was essentially a black screen with combat data, proc overlays, a bunch of settings, and action bars to simulate a "fixed" Frost Mage because the spec has foundational issues and needs a mini-revamp. I always think back to this because I think it would be cool to use whatever backbone this thing serves as for a larger project dedicated to simulating old iterations of class designs for people to experiment with and get a feel for.

I only can agree. I personally think Legion Arms + Fury were class design at its finest in WoW. Fury Warrior in Nighthold with Draught of Souls trinket was just god feeling & Arms in Tomb of Sargeras with the 6x Mortal Strike set bonus during Bladestorm was so well made for this old pvp specc. Passive Sweeping Strikes as a talent was also so good & you always had to figure out for each dungeon, affix or boss if you play with it or focus in single target for Avatar as an example. And fury warrior is still to this day one if not the most fun classes to play for me atleast. Legion Moonkin in Nighthold/ToS & Feral was also pretty sick in Antorus.

I played casually for years, but the perfection of Legion arms got me into being a big pumper which is now the only reason why I still play WoW at all. I really loved the passive sweeping strikes that hit a 3rd target.

Legion was incredibly bad and unfun. You had no stances anymore, no ability off the gcd and were rage starved all the time. Wotlk, Cata and Mop were all so much better. It’s not even comparable how bad Legion was for warriors. I stopped playing my warrior in 7.0 because of this horrible downgrade.
