The biggest reason why they feed better into the combine. Also you are using the whole head. If you go straight with the row you are wearing a 6-8 inch section of the sickle and guards.

Or if you row cultivate, the intake of dirt can be a problem as well.

How does your combine go in the mud when the ground is wet? Nice video. Great information.

They go through the wet ground by either putting tracks on the combine or putting it in 4wd.

Not going out in the mud is the best option. All you will do make deep ruts and cause soil compaction. 2014 was the exception. You either went out in some mud, or didn't get harvest done until 2015 on frozen ground. We did not have 4WD or tracks. We made it work. I never got stuck, but I made some messes for sure.
