It would be nice to be able to rename the modes. Like one profile for DRY, the other for WET :)

Hey, wich setting would mostly affect battery consumption...the torque or the assist character?

It would really be nice if Shimano would offer micro tune functionality in a firmware upgrade for the older E7000, E8000 and EP800 😉

My orbea rise only connects up to 15 seconds after switch on, as the documentation. Not tried beyond that but I guess they don’t want you fiddling with that while riding

It’s impossible because it’s preset to Uk 15 mph you can’t overtake it so waste of time

Afaik, you can only set 2 profiles on the original ep8. There are 2 profiles on the new EP8 (EP801) and the EP6 also. But you can add multiple presets under each profile. See the part about Fine Tune Mode www.emtbforums.com/ams/we-rode-the-new-shimano-ep6-and-ep8-801-ebike-motors.49/

That's not possible with this tool using the basic level of access. I assume it's possible if you've got OEM access, which is a higher level than what most shops have.

This application is a joke, my new focus 7.9 dont work anymore i did a firmware update and after 63% the bike turn off and now it does not start. 7000€ bike with 30km its now broke

I tried searching, and could only find this page/video in Norwegian. Perhaps the video can be of some help. This is for E-Ride, but I guess it should be the same for E-Tube. www.shimano-steps.com/e-bikes/norway/no/news/E-BIKE-HOW-TO-E-TUBE

@@EMTBVideos I have the Shimano SC-E5000 display. With the Husqvarna MC5 2021 When I turn on the bike I find no Bluetooth signal in the E Tube app. Maybe the display does not have Bluetooth but in the manual it says that it works. Just not explained. Can you help me? I do not have an E5000 bike but a display.
