Old man Logan is an incredible story arc, I stopped reading comics right before I went in the military, and shortly after I got back I stumbled across this comic and this got me back into comics again

ok but there are literally scenes in logan where they don't fully come out, sometimes they pop out more as he fights, n i remember a scene where he straight up pulls them out with his hands

In the movie Logan, we can see Wolverine trying to pop out claws since the intro with tha limousine thieves but one of the sticks halfway out and later we see logan draw its claw manually. I think is a reference to artritis due aging (+ adamantium poisoning). Or €rectile disfunction. There are plenty of factors for the last one: stress, performance anxiety and aging. But the wolverine approaches by deadpool is still considerably young. So I support the trauma theory exposed in this short, and I think the six shaths on wolverine hands (3 for each hand) helps logan to draw his claws to win skin resistance that otherwise would seal claws: the knuckles'skin tends to regrow due healing factor and maybe blocks the claws in their ongoing way if they are not strong enough in the motion.

You might want to watch "Logan" again, because his claws DID have difficulty coming out. He tried to flex them out like normal, but they got stuck and he had to pull them the rest of the way out with his hands.
