Why women leave good men

I have witnessed so many horror stories about this through clients of mine and some friends. Over 2/3 of divorces are initiated by the woman and a lot of them are leaving men that most would consider to be 'good.' Why does this happen and what can you do to prevent this from happening in your life. Basically it comes down to your desirability. If you focus on making her happy all the time, not only will you not be happy but she won't be either.

Hello, I recently started to talk a girl and she just seems so blunt and she told me think it’s a good policy. At the end of the day I feel like I’m texting her too often and showing my emotions too much while texting...I’m not sure how I should go about it from now because I don’t want to be seen as someone that is a simp or a pushover. Also, I feel like we have different political beliefs so there’s that. But I don’t want to make it seems like I’m uninterested but she will leave me on read and I will invite her to an Xbox live party and she will never join...what do you think I would do?

So true. But we should never have regrets as long as we learn from a mistake. I had a 12 year long mistake, but this girl was a giant improvement for me in my 20s when I started using drugs. I got completely away from them and never told her I had a problem before we started talking. She was so anti-drug that it was all it took. I might be dead today if it weren't for that "mistake". So never have regrets.

That's quite on point. As the fellas above said, with some exceptions, that is the outcome. Expect it, accept it and shrug it off as if nothing happened, cause nothing happened. This is human nature, and with the social engineering nowadays the tendency is even more accentuated. Don't worry, be happy. You ain't losing much anyway, and if you were to find an unicorn you'd still be together, but you're not. Have a good one.

@MJBrabantNZL

@@veemon9280 Of course they don't feel a spark. They're adrenaline junkies. It's the only way to dull the pain. Just be sure that she won't change until she takes a look at herself in the mirror for more than just beauty. Most women don't bother. People like you will add to that trauma, but only later on in her life. A case of "Don't know what you've got until it's gone"? Meanwhile, you're attracting them for reasons that you also haven't dealt with yet. I know you're a decent man, but there'll be a form of codependency there that you need to root out. You sound like the people pleasing kind. I've been there. You may think it's not a bad thing, but it's rooted in not feeling worthy enough, and that's the thing that you both have in common. But because you are the way you are, it won't be nearly as difficult for you to fix as hers will be. Running to another man was never the answer, and makes things much worse. Much like how men will do the same thing (hence the term pump n dump, which you, as a decent man should never bother engaging in).

Go to some of these videos where people surprise their father, husband, wife, grandparent, etc... with a gift they've ALWAYS wanted. What do you usually hear the person say once they see the surprise??? They say, "You didn't have to do this for me!" Or they say, "Why did you do this??" Honestly, when it comes to having something good, many people don't feel they are worthy. This comes from a place of insecurities. People leave good people because they feel they are unworthy. Your goodness to them is a mirror, and it reflects back to them how awful they feel about themselves. So when you love them... They say within themselves, "Why do you treat me this good? I don't deserve you!" When you treat them bad... THEN you are treating them based on how they view themselves. This is why they remain in toxic relationships. It's because they don't feel worthy of Love.

Guy here, but I've listened to this with the genders flipped. I was the difficult one in my last relationship. I was never happy. I was always causing trouble because I didn't know how else to be. It's all I knew. And you're right - she lost respect for me. After I did all the great ground work in our early days (eg. not being clingy, desperate, needy, demanding etc), only two years later of her listening to me constantly putting myself down, thinking I wasn't good enough, worrying, hating day-to-day life, allowing social media to poison my mind (and make ridiculous comparisons with people's highlight reels), not investing more in my house and really sticking a stake in the ground, being indecisive of where I wanted to live, getting angry with her when I was drunk (that must have been horrible for her, I was like a ticking time bomb), and other insecurities like "I hadn't slept with enough women" or "I wasted my 20s" and all that garbage (when in fact I lived an enviable life in many ways) the sex stopped. Once a month at best. In no time at all resentment from my side blew up and I was so fed up with her. But I've since learned, and this video has punctuated things, that yes, it's fine to be a bit difficult in the initial chase of a relationship to maintain mystery and increase desire, but once all that's locked in (you're a proper couple, rapport is good, sex is good, you do fun things together and can chill together etc) then TREAT HER WELL. Because that's what she wants. You were her prize but if that prize makes her miserable then she's not going to want to stick around. At 33 and three failed relationships I have finally learned all this. So, while I'm going to dabble with dating apps in this horribly dry spell (sheesh), I am going to work on my career, home and body and make myself the best I can be. And if no one wants me after that? Well, that would be a disaster for me but it would be someone out there's loss. I AM GOING TO SUCCEED AND I AM GOING TO GET WHAT I WANT. *breathes out* That helped to write that out. Today has been tough so far. Edit: And thank you for your advice, Lloyd! Your channel isn't toxic like so many 'male dating advice' channels. Never change that tone.

I understand this was for men, but thank you for saying this. I spent 5 years of my life trying my hardest to help “fix” my ex. All the times I’ve tried to help him find work, to be respectful to his parents, to seek help for his anger rather than destroying everything in the room around him, to settle disagreements with me in a calm manner rather than screaming or cursing me out, I had to realize I couldn’t fix that or keep doing everything for him. We split but talked still, he found a woman and would tell me that he would leave her for me in a heart beat if I would have him back. That pretty much solidified the type of man he was to me and cut off all communication. My mental health is back and I’m now with a man who does not need fixing. So thank you for this peace of mind and advice. My sympathies to all the men in here who went through a relationship having to “fix” anyone.

Here's my interpretation that I've been trying to study lately. You can be a good person but don't be a pushover or a simp, as people call 'em. Like, if you're not happy with anybody (gf, wife, family member, friend, etc.) with something, do something about it and fight for your happiness. Sure, you can be happy making her happy, but keep your happiness in mind and if there's a clash that doesn't make you happy, deal with it in a manner that you can compromise so everybody's happy or if you don't wanna do something, stand up for yourself. Am I right? Any input is appreciated and thank you in advance.

Sounds good but tbh there’s a next level to having a better life as a man and it has nothing do with seeking emotions, like happiness, which is what women live for because it’s a feminine trait. Inner peace, a neutral state of being content is what it is to be masculine. Being masculine is what makes men content, it is what being stoic is all about. So set aside the childish idea of happiness and explore that principle instead, you’ll find how everything comes together nicely for men when they practice stoicism coupled with all life of purpose and service. A woman is completely optional for any man who truly has it all together, in fact - for most men to have an enjoyable life it is actually best to do without them and focus your life around close friends, family, and the people you mentor (extended family)

Brilliant! I felt like his mother in the last relationship... I needed him to MAN UP. If I wanted to be with a woman, I'd be gay. I'm not gay. I want a man. I LOVE THIS VIDEO, AND YOUR ADVICE. When I saw his weak side too often, and then he couldn't pull himself out of his own funk, more and more often, and he depended on me to do it for him... for months, I just couldn't sleep with him anymore. It was like that was what he needed to feel good about himself. That didn't work for me. He needed too much from me. It also felt like, if I wasn't enough for him to be happy for, and to want to be a strong person for me, and by that I mean be a strong autonomous person, that he was bringing to the table, then it made me feel unimportant to him. I was ready and willing to live our life. Embrace the good times, and go through the bad ones together, but he just wanted to be mothered. He didn't try to get through the bad times. He used them as a crutch for ME to become the man of our family. That is NOT SEXY. THANK YOU for putting this into words. i needed to understand why my last relationship went wrong.

This happens to good woman too. I just find it sad that being with someone is has become like mind games. I rather be honest and say, "This and that is bothering me". So it can be worked out. Mind games bother me. I never wanna guess what my significant other is feeling or thinking and I myself don't want him to be guessing either. I feel a lot of relationships are lost because of dialog. People always say Respect should be earned, I think Respect should be given until you lose it yourself. A guy who is a nice person should be admired not taken advantage of or taken for granted. However I do believe you shouldn't just be a "YES man to her wants".

sadly i don't have much experience with girls and relationships, but i've seen this stuff a lot of times with my friends. one of them in particular, was always the gentleman with his ex girlfriends. always paying when they went out, always nice, always willing to do what she wanted in order to not piss her off, always giving her priority over everything, the usual stuff. guess what happend with every single one of them. now he always treats his current girlfriend like crap (not in a playful way, he teases her and doesn't openly insult her of course, but he teases her very heavily, something that might look like total disrespect) and she's all over him (although his smv is way higher than hers). another one was similar. always chill, very positive guy that gets everyone in a good mood, but always spending time with her and prioritizing her even when he had other plans with us. she left him, after being together for 12 years and 7 or 8 months after buying a house, for a guy that was reported for stabbing someone. i don't know, maybe i need to internalize female nature more, but i can't not think that women work backwards sometime

This is so true. My husband was more invested in being a nice guy and to be liked so much by everyone that it pissed me off because he "gave" his likeability to everyone......it was a confidence problem. Because I wasn't investing in the nice guy act/lack of confidence any longer things got bad. He also had ridiculous expectations of me. I stopped the whole thing........for myself. We're doing better after 24 years because I won't let him drag me into his stuff.......

I'm 28 years old and I've never had a serious relationship with a woman. I like being single most of the time because I choose to chase excellence, not women. The truth is that women can not make me happy. I can not feel happy around women; that's the way I am and nothing can change me. I don't understand why men seem enchanted by women.
