That maintenance that you've been avoiding on your vehicle (or trailer) over the course of the past year is bound to catch up to you eventually... especially when you own as many off road vehicles, towing vehicles, race cars, and trailers as we do. And especially when you ride them hard and put them up wet more often than not! But that's exactly what the winter down time is for, to catch up on all of the problems that have been accumulating (both the ones you know about...and the one's you didn't know about). Like our long-neglected gooseneck PJ trailer with a hydraulic dovetail!

So much fun, so much cold! First adjustable hammer, patent pending. Non-needle nosed vice grips, patent pending. Improvise, adapt, overcome! The Internet said you can do that - hilarious! Bec smiling but serious, the boys are being silly, seriously. Hey, where the bouncer is would be a great place for another lift..? LiteBriteNationWorkoutTrailer!

Brakes are so important when towing the weight you tow. Along with the bushings that keep the axils aligned! I think you ow your rams a lot for leaking. This is a great heads up to all who tow trailers, that they to need some TLC.

Nice BIG breakfast wrench you get there Beka! (croissant) Why does everything break? Ask my wife that as the crankshaft broke on her Dodge Dakota as she was taking our dog to the animal hospital after the dog was hit by a truck speeding down our gravel road. Dog is fine, one bruised front shoulder and a small cut under her tongue and a blood transfusion since they discovered she has the inherited anti clotting disease. All that and I was out of the area. Maintenance, that's what we're here for, isn't it? All my life, retired at 75. Darn achy-breaky parts, anyway!

You have to go back to the early 1900s when they made light bulbs that would last forever! The manufacturer realized they can't make money if people don't replace them so they began making them where they would burn out a certain time. Since then manufacturers have been building things with a certain wear out time frame! Today, now they use cheap parts that may may last a year or two! Of course, abuse doesn't help so preventive or periodic maintenance is required! Happy Trails to all of you!

Bec the only sensible one in the workshop not using a angle grinder without a gard It makes me cringe every time I see it on KZfaq The gard on my angle grinder covers half the disc on top and comes down the back edge of the disc protecting my fingers It leaves the front of the disc clear for cutting and the bottom for grinding and sanding I had a gard that came down too far for sanding so I cut off a bit so I can do sanding and keep my fingers I bought my first angle grinder over 45 years ago and I still have all my fingers So Bec put the gard back on the grinder and start using it with confidence an show the boys how it is done Peter
