I have the Tamarac gen 4 and it is hands down the highest quality tent on the market. Just came back from an annual Rendezvous in the Ozarks with over 400 vehicles. I was checking out numerous RTT that other people had there and none of them compared to the thick material and rounded corners that Treeline has. We've camped during a couple severe thunderstorms with 40-60 mph wind gusts and stayed cozy and dry. The only "gripe" would be that the rain fly would flap around on the non entrance side during high winds. Easily solved with a couple bungees. I can't complain one bit and I'm glad I didn't go with a cheaper competitor.

how the rain fly react in high winds ? does the tent is waterproop without the rainfly ? Just imagine the wind get stronger during the night and rains also start to fall... the rainfly will react as a parachute so would it be possible to remove it or it is a must to be waterproof ??

Hello! The tent itself is waterproof, but the skylight zippers are not. Therefore, we strongly suggest keeping the rainfly on during rainstorms. Should the wind kick up, just fasten the rain fly to the tent as though it was being packed up. This will reduce the wind chatter while keeping you dry. Hope this helps!
