A really well edited, espresso-style video! I love the idea of such a multi-use powerplant, but ngl, I am still kinda worried about incineration being locked in as a source of energy/heating for the city for the next half century :/

Thank you! It replaces a coal fired plant and they have deals to take in waste from the UK, so it is safe to say that it is indeed locked in as an energy source for the next couple of decades!

Thank you for reminding me of this place. After enjoying your video I wandered off into the jungle of the internet. I wish I hadn't! Burning waste err ignites all sorts of ire from all shades of the green spectrum. At least I've found out what happened to the tonnes of waste that China suddenly decided to stop accepting some years ago. Thank you. 1:30 What, pray tell, is an urban recreation centre?
