Worst part about forgetting terms in English is that right after your conversation is over, the words magically come to your head and you're like "Hey, hold on, don't leave yet, I've got it now" running after the person you were talking to so you can show it was a temporary brain issue lmao😭

I went to an English speaking course interview yesterday. I wasn't nervous at all until they called me into the room. All my attention focused on how I could hide that I was stressed. But at the same time, being asked questions by the person in front of me made me more impatient as I thought of answers. The more I rushed and tried to hide my excitement, the more difficult it became. Still, I'm happy that I answered quickly and understood the questions right away. I hope I pass the interview and can start the speaking class :)

Great video. With limited vocabulary, there will be large gaps between words when we speak. And this will only be 'fixed' when we learn new words every day. Congratulations, Veronika, on the excellent video!

Good point, I think everyone learning a foreign language experienced this kind of situation more than once. We have to understand that it's just normal and you did exactly what we have to do: use this "negative" experience and turn it in a positive one learning the words and expressions you need. Great!

Lol, so funny. I just had a similar experience. A guy flagged me down for help at the gas pump. It turns out, he has lived in the US for two years but never used a gas pump! (seriously?!) He didn't speak much English and got lucky that the only other person at the gas station was me, an A2-B1 Russian speaker. Needless to say, my "gas station" vocabulary isn't as good as someone who works at Gazprom 😄, but with some pointing and a combination of his limited English and my limited Russian, we figured it out and he was grateful. That's the first time I actually HAD to use my Russian, rather than being able to pick and choose the words I knew when talking to some Russian friends who also speak English. Like you, after I got home I learned a bunch of new words related to the experience. The biggest lesson, *don't panic!* It's not a test, just do your best to communicate with what you know.

I had an experienced like your. I practice speaking English with others, but i am limited in expressing my thought. I also practice speaking English by myself, where I can express a lot. I practice speaking English enough with other. I cannot practice a lot with others and also cannot find a good platform. Anyway, thank you so much for your video.

Yesterday I was also nervous and stressed because I was asked by a child to speak English.I don't know how to overcome it.I can understand that it's normal making mistakes, however when it comes to my speaking time I am so stressed and anxious.

3000 kelime diyorlar. İnternette yazınca direkt bu kelimelerin karşılıkları çıkıyor. Bir de kelimelerin morfolojisini bilirsen daha rahat kelimelerin anlamını öğrenebilirsin. Yani ingilizcedeki yapım ekleriyle beraber kelimenin nasıl bir anlam kazandığını öğrenirsen çok faydası olur bence. Eğer başlangıç seviyedeysen 40 kelime bilmen o an için yeterli. Bir grammar kuralı öğrendiğinde kullanmak için bu 40 kelime hep aklında olsun ki bunlarla kendince birkaç cümle kurabil.
