Idk who needs to hear this but when I was two years old God cured me of kidney cancer. I had a tumor the size of a softball that was pushing up my spleen and my kidney had completely shut down. When I was eight years old God saved my soul! God is great! All we have to do for God to save us is ask him and mean it from our heart. Everyone gets a chance to get saved all we have to do is ask him! If anyone is going through a tough time right now he will get you through it! If anyone needs any prayers just ask! God loves you and so do I God bless you all!

not too long ago i sat in my closet almost every night for weeks asking god to speak to me. i just wanted to hear his voice like in the bible. i got so desperate i even tried guilting god into speaking with me. like, “i guess i’m not worthy enough” ( i know that’s awful, but at least i’m honest with myself) after some time and a lot of confusion and frustration i finally came to a peace/realization that he’ll speak when he needs to. i need to learn to just rest in his presence and be still. he is with me, he hears me, he loves me, and that’s more than enough for me. ❤

The silence is called Selah. It’s part of the song the angels are singing about your life and Jesus work in you.

Ive actually been realising this past month how much i seem to feel the "need" for noise, for example when i brush my teeth i "need background noise" or when I'm eating alone "i need to watch a video." But now that Ive realised how needy i am of it I'm praying and I am starting to realise I'm scared of silence, why? probably because I'm scared of conviction. And I always kept wondering in that time "WHY God cant I hear you" so thank you so much for this video it really helped ❤

Praise the Lord family we just going to keep it simple if you want to hear God’s voice just open the Bible and when you read the scripture anyone you open too it’s God speaking to you. All scripture is given by inspiration of God profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV most importantly it’s not the power of silence because you can be in silence and mind can still be blank. It’s the power of having the Holy Ghost because of you have not the Holy Ghost you are none of his. God is not saying yo I need you to do this. Just want to make sure that you back up what you saying with scripture because it may look as what you saying sounds good but it’s no good because no glory is going to God. That’s why we must learn of Jesus Christ and learn what it means to be born again and have the Holy Ghost and the mind of Christ that we may learn how to meditate and fight the good fight of faith.

Thank you for this really, I have been busy working on a video project for my KZfaq Channel and I really need to balance every area of my life to spend time with God too, ALSO that is so true, just being able to sit in silence with God, one thing I like about walking outside and enjoying nature is knowing that God is with you, in the busyness of my life whether its my own channel, my own studies, and stuff, Resting in God's presence is really a must. Especially in these college seasons.

I remember seeing this video on my for you page and not really minding it, I read the title and knew I needed it but just ignored it and I’ve been struggling with patience waiting for Him to talk to me, I’ve been needing to hear His voice and I always have questions cause I need directions and guidance, it’s been really stressful cause I just hear all of this testimonies of believers who listen to His voice and He talks to me but sometimes I really need to just listen to Him talk, to ask Him and for Him to answer me, I read the Bible and reveals many things to me and I sometimes don’t comprehend it immediately but when it is the time for it to be comprehended, it’s hard, but I know He will talk to me not just because I’m looking for Him but bc of His Mercy. It was probably from Him for me to encounter with this video and to encounter it not just once but twice🤗

Truth! We live in a time where there’s always something to do or something that’s expected of us. Silence can feel hard, but if we really let ourselves get used to it, just sit there and relax, it’s really nice. It IS silence when God speaks to, or reveals some things to me, but the flesh is always wanting to be entertained or do something! That’s something we all could work on I think, scheduling time for silence, scheduling time to just sit and be with God. Not only praying, but listening.

Your completely right, I think I’m having a hard time sometimes retreating to the quiet place because for me someone might see me and think that Iam sad or in some kind of distress when really I’m just trying to get away. But I don’t want to communicate that with them because this is a personal thing. I feel like for a long time know I want to go away from everything, not permanently but for a good amount of time.

I know one way to reeeeally know God's voice, is to read the Bible and know in your mind and spirit as much as you possibly can. The Bible contains the objective truth about everything, so knowing it really well allows you to separate what God says from what is not from God

hey man i was meditating on this exàct concept this night! even when we're doing mundane tasks (cooking, dishes,..) we'll drown out the silence with music or listening to podcasts etc i thought to myself man we really need to relearn how to sit in silence (i have adhd so even when it's technically silent my head is buzzing 100 miles an hour so i should really make it routine to set apart intensional time of silence)

The Lord CLEARLY speaks to us by His Word when we read DOCTRINE and He gives Christians this comprehension and understanding and PEACE that goes with clear perception. I wouldn’t quite say silence is why you don’t hear God’s voice. The only way TO hear God’s voice is by actually taking the time TO pray, TO read and REALLY study His word instead of going through a read in a year plan. And after all that’s done, reflect and pray on what the Spirit has revealed to you!
