My parents don't allow a pet. So I've decided when I'll be older and have a house of my own, I'll adopt a golfen retriever. Omg they are so cute doggos. Maya is supercute, btw.

If you show you parents that you can do everything yourself and that you are responsible then that might just get you one! If you can try to get a fish but do all the research first so you know how to take care of it. This will show your parents that you can take care of things yourself! This is what happened to me, I got a fish for my birthday a couple years ago, he is still alive and well, but now in a couple of weeks I am getting a pup! (Sorry this is extremely long!)

I remember at my old caravan site there was an old golden retriever who would walk herself and the other dog because their owners were getting too old to walk her and the other dog they owned as far as they used too. This dog later on decided to go to other people’s caravans waiting outside for other dogs to come outside with their leads on so she could give them a large walk on the beach for about half an hour and walked them back to their vans and when my dog fell ill she still waited outside for her, this happened every summer and it’s been a year since we stopped going to the campsite her owners sent us a picture of her waiting for our dog and it melted our hearts 💕

@@sethkraai9075 well he got out from the backyard when I was coming home from school and this lady came up to our doorstep to tell us our dog was missing, and we haven't found him ever since.

i don’t know if anyone else’s dog is like this but my cousins dog can’t see anything that is on a screen (videos, facetimes, etc.) and she just went off to college across the world and whenever her parents facetime her he looks for where her voice is coming from and it’s the most heartbreaking thing to watch. (just found out that all dogs can’t see a tv screen or what’s on it basically)
