I noticed some small flat oval scales on the back of some mango leaves I picked the other day. They came off when I washed the leaves but I wanted to know if I can still use the leaves for tea? I’m not sure what the scales were (possibly little bugs?) Also, can I use the leaves from any mango plant? My neighbor has a large mango tree and only consumes the fruit. I asked for some of the leaves to make tea and they gave some to me but I want to make sure it’s safe before I use them for tea.
