Hi Mark! Yes, I'm guilty for not knowing in my early boating years...lol. That's why I did this video to at least give new captains, an early warning of the consequences of not replacing those manifolds, and risers on time. My Brother thanks so much for watching! Peace from the Keys!

@@KeysBoatingChannel it's a good idea especially where you are located. Salt water warm environment they don't last long at all. The risers (elbows) and spacers are especially susceptible. The walls are much thinner than the manifolds any typcally fail first. I had my elbows spacers pulled at the beginning of the season to be checked since they are older than the manifolds. So if you are reading these comments and don't know the status of your manifolds, elbows and spacers don't wait, get them checked
