You are SO right. I ruined all my progress by checking his social media. I now feel so low and crappy. Before that I was on my way to healing.

I had a habit of stalking my ex on FB. The solution? I deleted my FB account and was able to move on. Now I found someone even better!

I have learned that stalking is giving your attention to a person not worth your time anymore. Dont let them steal your time, even 1 sec of your life! Do they deserve it? Time is precious, spend it only with precious things, with precious people.

I think you need to pay the most attention to what she said on 1:45. The lower your self-esteem, the harder it becomes to not check-upon. From my experiences, people with low self-esteem feel like their ex is the only thing they live for. Meaning, it isn't "just letting go" for them because they feel depended (needy). The more your self-esteem increases, the easier it becomes to put your ex aside and to not feel triggered about thoughts about your ex. You shouldn't fear seeing him or her on social media; fearing them would still be a connection to your ex. Whether or not you see them on social media, know you should increase your self-esteem in order to (choose to) let go. Not stalking them will definitely help, but don't fear and be hard on yourself with "if I see them I will never let go". You probably need to do more things to increase self esteem. The most important thing of all is you don't feel DEPENDED on seeing/stalking them and be able to live your own life and to make room for new love!

I found out he married someone else 3 months after our break up, I had no idea, until I found out on his social media. He ended up contacting me asking me if I wanted to have sex with him and a new girl he was seeing and I told him I knew he was married - to which he called me a "creepy stalker" and threatened a restraining order on me. Really buddy? You're going to ask me for a 3some, then say that because I confronted you?

Great to listen, I unfollowed, deleted all my comments on his Facebook he doesn't deserve my nice comments of him and I deleted all, 100% No Contact! Today, I unfollowed him on Instagram and deleted those comment too and I feel a great sense of relief because I want to heal my heart and the only way is to keep away...Challenging but all good for me day by day! Heartbreaks can age a person mentally, physically, emotionally and I am too young in heart and soul to age so quickly!

I see some people saying things like it kill them to see that they moved on and are sleeping with other people. But you know what? If you don’t look you won’t ever have to know ignorance is bliss. And they moved on why haven’t you? You look pathetic stalking your ex and thats the hard cold truth. I found out my ex does this, and the reason why I found out was because one day after many years I messaged her on FB and she asked me if I still looked the same. She went on to say: "do you still look the same? your profile picture looks old". How would she know how old my picture is unless they stalk my profile?
