Guitar Improvisation Tips pt1: How To Use Sequences In Your Solos!
Welcome to my new series of guitar improvisation and phrasing tips.
In this lesson, we look at some creative and musical ways of incorporating sequences into our solos, using rhythmic devices to disguise them and prevent them from sounding too ‘pattern-based’.
I let the D Dorian backing track run throughout the video and at the end, so you can try out some of the ideas for yourself.
Please note that there is no TAB for this lesson as all of the licks are improvised (including the mistakes!)

Myself being a left handed guitar player watching right handed videos on You Tube makes it harder to reverse the fretboard. But I appreciate everyone’s tutorials. Your tutorials are exceptional and so glad your video showed up as a phrasing tutorial.
