Bowen was my late fathers favourite place. He took my family there 50yrs ago. We had house there for couple of years. I know exactly what you mean. Great footage.

The cool yellow boat at the end of the jetty in the footage is a Tug the pushes in and out the large coal carrier ships to port at Abbott Point just north of Bowen

Yes very true! Airlie being so close does take the action away from Bowen. But also its nice that its less busy

@@HughSmith-kz8bt Nancy Beddock was a much loved Bowen pioneer who had a quote "unfortunate protuberance" on her nose, it was named after old loves nose wart which it resembled.
