We are back on pitch but with a twist! Our tekknician AK takes us onto the grass to tell us exactly why we need to wear studs and soft ground boots this time of year. What better way to do so then test soft ground boots to the usual firm ground boots?

Yeah the issue is that the studs don't penetrate the ground properly due to the lack of moisture. As a result you don't get the right traction need to play at your best level!

I played with Sg on frim ground It was terrible, no proper grip and might get injured Don't even think about it Regretted getting sg boot when I'm in hot/dry region 😖

Pure Forester ijzeren noppen zijn in Nederland verboden in het amateurvoetbal, als je noppen wilt die daarop lijken moet je alliminium noppen hebben. Dat is het gevaar van ijzeren noppen als je een scheidsrechter hebt die het controleert kun je eraf gestuurd worden of je moet andere voetbalschoenen gebruiken

No hacks for that. Make sure you screw them on tightly before hitting the pitch! If they're falling out, you haven't done so and you'll need to buy a new set of studs.

Any type of stud whether its metal or plastic will hurt you.

It depends on the pitch. On a wet muddy pitch, then yes. On a regular dry grass pitch, no.

I’ve got only fg boots at the moment , but I’m seriously considering getting a pair for each playing conditions , especially in Ireland where theres a variety, good bit of the season it’s wet pitches so : sg, but there’s also clubs that play on ag pitches so I’ll stick on ag boots then same with fg
