Vitamin C is by far my favourite active ingredient in skincare, I found it better than retinol as an anti aging as I cannot get a prescription retinol just now, so I’m just gonna stick with vitamin C as it gives me far better results than over the counter retinol, also it improved my acne scars and overall skin texture. I’m using the cerave vitamin C serum and I find it excellent, it doesn’t irritate my skin and I use it every single morning, I store it in the fridge so it won’t oxidise as fast, I just finished a whole tube and I bought another one, great value for the money!

I was reading on line several years ago about how cigarette smoking interferes with the bodies ability to absorb Vitamin C, back when everyone was using Vitamin A for skin. I thought then, wow! We're using the wrong thing. When Hyaluronic Acid, or Vitamin C, came on the market, I jumped on it. Born in Fl., lifetime in sun, etc. I have used it faithfully twice a day for several years, following with a good moisturizer. I have no wrinkles or sagging. I am 70 yrs. old. This comes in all types of price points, Hyaluronic Acid. I found one for just 20.00, it lasts me around 6 weeks. A total game changer! You only need to be consistent. Twice a day, morning and night.

Yo man! I don't know if you read your comments but PLEASE do a video on Trusculpt ID! I'm 2/3 treatments in for a double chin (Just weird genes, I'm not overweight) and the results are genuinely amazing, I was disheartened by some Reddit posts but there was a sale at a clinic so I decided to try it and I'm so much more confident now when taking photos.. And I still have one treatment to go. I ended up getting it done on my abdomen and am 1/3 treatment in and seeing very subtle but noticeable results. I really think it deserves a deeper dive as it's basically a non-invasive procedure for stubborn fat reduction.

I grew up drinking one liter of freshly made orange juice a day, 4 school days a week, from the age of three to the age of nineteen. Say what you will, but these are my experiences: for starters I NEVER got the flu. I didn't know what it was; I heard people talk about it, classmates who got sick but I had no idea. Until the winter after I finished high school, that's when, for the first time in my life, I got the flu. When I was nineteen, I was run over by a car. All I remember is seeing everything turn upside down like when you do salto, but I didn't feel it. I was hit against my right leg and I'm said to have rolled over the car and knocked a bus stop pole before I fell to the ground. I woke up in the hospital with a concussion, a wound just above my eye that they were closing at that very moment and let's call it a very colorful leg between my hip and my knee. Didn't break a single bone. I started university when I was 37, people thought I was only slightly older than they were, about 25. The other day we went to an open class for my eldest daughter to check out that college. The students who were effectively following that class, thought that I was her older friend. I asked them how old they thought I was. After some deliberation they said 32. My daughter and I laughed so hard. I was 46. I'm too lazy to actually do that myself, but there is a store half a mile from here that has a machine. So every two or three days I walk over to the store and get myself 1,5 l of fresh orange juice. To this day I call it liquid gold.

One liter PER DAY? Jesus that's a lot of sugar
@ccatarinajm7114
@ccatarinajm7114 7 ай бұрын
@@Lovedrawing1 before I started taking antidepressants for postpartum depression, I was - what we call - a batten with a butt and two mosquito bites, so that sugar you speak of, did nothing other than give me energy. We rarely ate sweets and my mother would prepare rather healthy food. Can't say that it was the most tasty food - to this day I'm not used to anything spicy and I even rarely use salt. Now, much older, I notice that the days that I drink orange juice I don't even crave sweets. So there's your sugar for you. Nobody will ever convince me that orange juice is bad for me, unless something changes with me. Like, my upper neighbor says the same thing you do, but she had a gastric bypass so I get that in her case, it's not good. I grew up on mainly rice, chicken and orange juice, and I was healthy and energetic. I tried that with my daughter too, but she could not support any fruit at first, so she got broccoli instead. And now she's 18 and just like me: rice, chicken and orange juice. I was in ballet and climbing trees and playing in the cornfield. With us living in the city now, she took to swimming as a child but got bored when she could not obtain more swimming diplomas after 1,5 km, so she switched over to gymnastics and has been doing that for 10 years. There is not an ounce of fat on her body even with all that orange juice
@Lovedrawing1
@Lovedrawing1 7 ай бұрын
@@ccatarinajm7114 It's not only the caloric intake I'm worried about, but also the number it does on your blood sugar levels. While orange juice is healthy in moderation, and most people eat more sugar than they should, 1 liter per day is excessive. Obviously you're convinced this is healthy as nothing has happened to you or your daughter specifically, but you're generalising your lifestyle based on yourself to the entirety of the population, against what's recommended (max 1 glass of juice per day). I know someone who's convinced that the "sun is healing", so when he had an operation that left some non-aesthetic scars, he decided to tan them to "heal" it. Straight against the doctors orders. But he was convinced about his beliefs. Tanning increases risk of cancer, and the risk becomes much higher for damaged skin. This is still a risk, so maybe nothing happens for this guy, but that's not the same as nothing happens to everyone. I would expect people consuming 1L of juice or soda (same sugar contents) to have e.g. a higher risk of diabetes.
@ccatarinajm7114
@ccatarinajm7114 7 ай бұрын
@@Lovedrawing1 I'm glad to finally get a broader response than "oh, all that sugar." You are absolutely right. However, I went back to all that I wrote and I can't find me actually writing that it's good for everybody. I specifically wrote that this was my experience and how it affected me and my daughter. Though I must admit, in my mind I do generalize it so I probably do sound like that even if I didn't write it explicitly. Thank you for pointing that out. I should know better than that, having struggled through three levels of statistics in university. I have also heard that orange juice and soda contain about the same amount of sugar. I guess that because of my own experiences I have always brushed it off as other kind or "better" sugar or something like that, even though I have never actually researched it. I ought to do that either to open my own eyes or to have a counter argument, depending on the outcome of the research (which will only be based on literature study because there is no way I can actually study this). Believe it or not, your extended comment actually intrigued me to the point that I do want to find out more about all that orange juice, even have myself checked for the risk of diabetes. Our health insurance was only recently offering a free test of some sort. I might actually take them up on it. So thank you, for not just chastising me but also trying to educate me. I really appreciate that.
@Lovedrawing1
@Lovedrawing1 7 ай бұрын
@@ccatarinajm7114 You're also right, I might have read too much into your comment compared to what you wrote - I might be biased as I encounter a lot of misleading information on the internet, but this might indeed also be the way that someone else would interpret it. I should have thought about that, so I'll try to do that in future debates here. You seem like a good person. It's rare to have such a civil debate on the internet, so thank you, and I wish you the best of luck.

I've watched a lot of your videos today for the first time. I just found your channel. I am not willing to go through the expense and pain of having surgery because I hate my nose or hairline. The only way I would have surgery like this is if it was a quality of life or a health thing. Young men panick when the realize that they are going bald, but take it from a 50 year old GenXr. Women will still love you, and you won't care at age 50. All of that money that you spent on getting some hair back could have been spent on a mortgage or your retirement. You will not be young forever.

This explains my issue! I started using a vitamin C serum and evening mask a few months ago and while they were so great for my skin, a patch of dry skin appeared next to my nose and keeps getting irritated. It started to heal when I stopped using the serum and the mask for a while. Now I know why. I'll keep using the serum at a lower frequency and avoid the irritated area then.

I get this too under my nose it gets red and itchy and dry. I get it from glycolic acid and retinol products even though I don’t put it under my nose. It’s when I go to put my face lotion on I must still have it on my hands even know I wash them it starts to get irritated. After trying several products to make it go away I found something on Amazon that actually works. As soon as I feel that itch coming on I use it and it takes it away. It does have an unpleasant smell to it but it works. It’s for seborrheic dermatitis and eczema relief.

topical vitamin c has been incredible for my stretch marks! i gained and lost weight rapidly and i was left with red and purple stretch marks. when i got stretch marks as a teen, they took years to fade from purple to brown to a pale tan color. i used inexpensive topical vitamin c on my fresh stretch marks and the redness has completely faded, the stubborn hyperpigmentation never formed, they’re significantly flatter and now they’re almost invisible. i know this is an n=1 situation and just anecdotal evidence, but it was very effective in my case!

The picture before the video starts (before and after pic) is a little childish to be honest. You don’t put vitamine C serum on your teeth I imagine. 🙈

Well not to sound like a narcissist Getting old stinks. If you're an older man than you want women to treat you well looking younger than your age is highly beneficial. People in general treat you better when you look younger.

Confess the Lord Jesus Christ with your mouth and believe in your heart that He died for your sins on the cross and God raised Him from the dead on the third day; repent of your sins and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit!
