Not sure how or why I failed to put it in the video but I completely forgot to add the audio I recorded for consistency (one of the 5 things I wanted to talk about). So the second best thing I can provide is the script I had for that portion. Hopefully this suffices! Consistency: Consistency and practice go hand in hand, practice is useless without consistency. Once you choose exactly how you want to practice, you need to remain disciplined to stick to that practice routine. Some days are going to be harder than others to find that motivation to practice but it’s important to keep your goal in mind. What I always found motivating was 1. Seeing my Elo increase and 2. Using a stat track service to analyze areas that I’ve improved on. There are two decent stat tracking services you can use, one is Leetify and the other is Scope.gg. If I have one tip in climbing it’s DONT BE SCARED OF NUMBERS. It’s you vs opponent no matter what rank

Great point. You do see that a lot with lower Elo players.

@@Ryderdie1 yea even with my buddies when they play with me “oh god bro he’s a level 10 Faceit” doesn’t matter just play ur best

@@whomadethis616 exactly! I had that same mindset when I was first playing. In reality the key difference between a level 7 and a level 10 (among some others things potentially) is experience, fundamentals and the ability to play post plant. Good take.

@@Ryderdie1 agree with you here again. It’s much more than just aim at the higher ranks and some people just don’t have the experience to hang. I’ve had friends with robotic aim who can’t find a single frag on ct nuke in level 8/9 Faceit just because they can’t position themselves for a kill! They always take 50/50 fights or peek into multiple players without a flash or anything !

I find staying hydrated REALLY helps me playing. Just put a big Jug of water on the table where you can see it so you drink more often. Its a nobrainer but it helped me A LOT. Great Video btw :)

Another big one is good rest. If you're tired you play in a lazy way, lose focus and tilt easier.

@@Ryderdie1 you got it. Started my face it grind for real. Dropped to level two when I started . 6 elo away from level 5 right now. I'm on the up and up and it's thanks to videos like yours And others in the CS community. Legitimately trying to help people get better at the game. All the best. Keep calm, its a game, you dont have to play when u arent mentally up to it. tell this to your friends as well! btw, love your loadout! Fuel injector is still best ak, (own one as well)

speaking for myself I am often just too tired. I am 38 years old, have a 40 hour work week and a kid. This means I can only play in the evening when my kid is in bed. Furthermore I often get waken up at night, therefore I feel tired in the evening when I want to play. When I play with my friends they usually carry the game but when I play solo que I need to be reseted to be able to carry a game.
