There are many reasons to consider leaving the UK and moving overseas, taxes being a huge one. However, for most the lifestyle benefits are also tenfold, imagine waking up by the beach, enjoying year round sunshine and feeling safe outside at night. These are all small things you should get in the UK but no longer do, and it's exactly why I moved overseas.

Great video mate 🔥 I am literally looking to set up my first business and have another 3 to follow in quick succession. I am open to moving to a better tax haven in Europe but have children and need to be able to spend as much time in the UK as possible. I feel for the English, France is a better option. Similar but yet different. For those of Normans/Angevins/Breton or Huguenot ancestry it is also basically returning to their homeland.

Surely with the pension changes, this is less of a problem!?! Husband, wife and 2 adult kids can pay in £240k. Also, who would want to bring their kids up with no extended family, in such a superficial country!?! Most of the tax expats I know have done their 5 years abroad but as soon as they have kids or start thinking about it they always come back.

if your in your 20's paying all your money into your pension and having to wait for it until your in your 60's don't appeal to most . true about bringing up there kids with no extended family or friends

@@hbmustangs - very few 20-somethings will be earning the type of money required to justify making the move worthwhile. By the time they do, kids will be on the cards! Also, another factor not considered is the tax free capital gain in someone’s PPR, for most people this is a significant percentage of their wealth. Slightly off topic, the video mentions it’s “scientifically proven” hot weather extends life 😂 - that’s just completely made up
