Tilman Fertitta tells us why you should not follow your passion. You need to find out what you are good at. The best way to do that is to try a lot of different things. You will find what you are better at than other people. Don't follow a passion that you are terrible at find one you are best at and find a way to build a career around it.
Self-evaluation is key here, 'follow your passion' is terrible advice. 'Use your talents to bring value' is much better.

I used to work for Tilman. Not gonna say where, but he's a damn cool guy. Always respectful, always recognizes you and never ignores his employees when he visits locations. Unlike a lot of other famous people and actors, he'll respond and actually acknowledge you if you say "hello" or "good to see you sir." I learned a lot from him because 2 years ago I was basically clueless on how to get where I wanted to be in life and how to go about it. Just watching videos of him being interviewed led me to take control and use that information to now make over $100,000 a year salary. Two years earlier I was making 21,000 a year. TWO YEARS. Best advice I can give is don't ever make excuses and never give up when things are hard.

I worked at a Landry's location for a few years, and when I met him the first time, he seemed very disinterested and commented right over the introduction by my boss.

I agree that everyone has their own set of skills and talents. It is up the individual to decide what they are good at.

Good stuff. The last minute is full of gems. I've tried and failed enough to know. I'm finally close. Like he said. You just know..... The signs not only point in the right direction, momentum builds. Importantly, "I fell better" about my choices. Continued success to you all.

It really annoys me when youtube channels chop up videos into small clips like this - just show the whole damn video

It's so obvious that you're doing it to manipulate the youtube algorithms - pay more attention to giving the viewer a good experience rather than trying to cheat the system

Actually Michael, I'm responding to what 99% of the views do. That is, watch a few minutes, then bounce. So this tells me that there's a demand for long-form like you and I prefer -- and short form for the people who don't have time or patience.

@@BehindtheBrand The attitude some people have! For getting free videos. You should have told him to fly off.
