Tilman has really hit home when saying... just go get it, while at the same time being willing to take risks and ready for anything. All based on how you really feel and being a good listener to be an unstoppable and trusted leader. It would be interesting to learn how he really goes about keeping fit both physically and mentally.I wouldn't be surprised if he regularly attends some kind of mind-body or bodywork sessions like yoga, pilates, bare or myofascial release practice to keep this fearless energy flow going smooth at all times.

What I love about Tilman is he is not a bullshitter, any of those emotional questions you asked him other people would of recalled of a load of bullshit like, special moments, special people, your wife etc... he gave true answers, I don't know, there wasn't one. Got his book on Audio is awesome he is no1 on my bucket list of people to meet.

I am thinking about a new type of restaurants: eating-spots in eating-spots, food keeps changing, chefs also rotate this is opposed to current restaurants, thanks to this rotation of food and chefs, eating-spots are more powerful than restaurants, along with that, there is an app, people vote for the food that will be cooked in the next days. menu is influenced by the live input of the people via an app.

Tilman reaches out to touch Lewis a lot of times during the conversation, while keeping sparkling eye contact. It appears to be a good gesture to touch lightly the person in conversation. I have a friend who does similarly, even to strangers he just meet, and he connects asap. Connecting with light touch in the arm is the best way.

Great interview. Made Tilman really have to stop and think about his answers rather than give just canned responses. Some questions he seemed uncomfortable answering or maybe he was being less than 100% truthful. For example, the questions delving into his personal life. He looked down several times after giving his answers and he was more soft spoken, whereas he was far more enthusiastic, engaging, and was making eye contact with you when discussing his success in the business world. I don't know, his body language seemed to suggest that he was not being forthcoming at times.

So crazy i always feel im coming into something be it this interview since ive just recently turned into a fan of Tillman's in the last 3 months prior to this i knew of him and him being our native billionaire. Ive grown an obsession for hotels interiors. Thank to my wife and i being in the furniture business and just are nack for staying in gorgeous hotels. But now listening to this and already have read his book he just put out last month i feel being in business is my calling. Hospitality is always #1 no matter what business you're in. The monetary value of the book is probably less than anything he has done, but you need to look at the other side as well. He is becoming a huge mentor and celebrity to others who want to emulate him is multiple aspects. His popularity is sky rocketing due to the book. So you need to look at the Non-fungible angle of this book because there is always the non physical aspect which has a greater impact on the population.

Tilman is one of the few people I greatly admire but I disagree, no one achieves greatness through a long arduous journey of monumental success from nothing without blood sweat and tears and have not been at that breaking moment but persevered. That’s the key success between success and failure - tenacity.

Most rich families lose their wealth after generation 3. The book "family Fortunes' by Bill Bonner helps get over that hurdle. I like the bit when Tilman talked about how his wife has always been there.
@cosmiccandy8704

Yes, I've heard that too: that they say the first generation makes the wealth, the second generation spends it, the third generation loses it. Whilst this level of wealth does appear attractive, I don't think it's always a good think to have it handed down in it's entirety throughout all generations. I do however think portions could and should it should be used to support the inspirations of succeeding generations so that they keep bringing new ideas into the world. To have such wealth handed down to you can stifle the hunger to create new enterprise. I understand that to be Buffet's thinking, and hence a large reason why he's not leaving his kids large inheritances.

When a person tells me they "fear nothing", I know they're full of shit. That's a dead giveaway of a bullshitter. Especially if that person has children. How can someone love their children and not be afraid for them in this messed up world? My answer. They can't. Glad the guy has had success and hope it continues. He's had an amazing run. That's for sure.

The reason he bought that team is because he knows that team is huge in China. If I was him, I'd buy a couple other teams if I could through some other company. The future is huge money, huge deals etc. Especially when you're dealing with a market that has billions of Chinese hungry for sports. He'll turn around and sell this shit for ten times or more. Nice move. Simple, straight forward and thinking huge. That's how it's done.
