Realistically if you com it through and your team is positive and not toxic you can probably just do it anyway, it doesn't HAVE to be your duo

@@red_flare3784 the problem is giving the gun to someone you have no control over their abilities. In this case of phoenix ult, it was fine. In other cases, it is a way to be inconsistent

Someone used this in VCT iirc. Gave their Vandal to Iso, Iso got a kill with his ult, gave the gun back.

I usually share with someone who’s playing better than me/other teammates. Like a Jett or a Reyna that’s getting a lot of kills, and I know that he/she will do more damage with a vandal than me.

This is what i did. I was iso and my teammate had gum but i dont and i asked for gun to use my ult and i gave it back and we secured the round.

This is actually a very common thing in immo+, players like Iso or Phoenix with ultimates will take a weapon into their ults. Nobody wants to Iso ult when they have a sheriff

Now that's a good teammate ... What I do is something else though, if our top frag doesn't have enough credits but I happen to own a vandal, I just give it to em and they either drop me a weaker or cheaper gun for the round. This guaranteed me round wins 87% of the time.

I didn't know this was such an unheard of thing??? It happens all the time in my Diamo-Ascen lobbies and it is a completely valid strategy. It's best with phoenix but also characters like Iso or even jett since they can get back if they get to low with a pick.

Generally I ask to borrow a Vandal when I'm Iso, so if I die in ult, at least my team mate will have his gun back

Same thing happened to me today on abyss, my pheonix said to give me the gun, and then he ulted and cleared A site and got 2 picks and gave me the gun back, this strat is good for a normal round too (only if the pheonix is playing good/ is not toxic and supporting others.

If you’re not willing to sacrifice like this then you’re not focused on winning. You’re focused on your own stats. It’s a team game. Do what’s needed to help the team. I’ve dropped vandals for teammates that couldn’t afford and we’re having a better game just for that reason alone. It happens. Not the end of the world.

Wrong Big brain strategy is trick teammate with potatoe aim to quickly buy me gun, then with no time left have potatoes aim go out and die and I use him as bait to get 2k. We lose rd and game but my KD look good 💀😎
