thanks man! its always good to hear that our work can affect someone around the word! I would actually suggest you start buying shirts that don't have excess fabric in the frst place, that way when you do put in darts they will fit nice and tailored. Have you tried some slim fit shirt yet?

That's exactly what you say! haha altough i usually go with a "light Break" that's what you see in my IG posts. Also it all really depends if he's a good tailor, if not he will most likely not understand what you want, if so just bring in a picture so it can help you. Another thing to keep in mind is that there needs to be enough fabric at the end for a 2 inch cuff. You essentially need about 4.5 inches of excess fabric at the end of your trousers to achieve the 2 inch cuff. (thats with it unhemmend) I will be doing a video tailoring series where hopefully I can help you out more with your questions in a visual example.

Search ebay for seller ID: themensboutique Jackets size by chest not shirts, with shirts you select the neck size, sleeve length and body length/fit. If I get a16.5 37 tall slim fit, I'm done, no tailoring. Just be aware different brands and styles will have there own characteristics. Look for videos on proper shirt fitting; If you're over 6' consider trying Tall shirts, they add 4" and another button to the tail so the shirt won't pull out of your pants as you move. Also you have 3 choices for the shape of the body: Regular, Trim and Slim fit. This guy in the video is right, I see most men don't tailor their jacket sleeves and it looks ridiculous because it fits in the shoulders and body. Your sleeves aren't meant to be your last defense against the frozen tundra, they make the sleeves long so you can get them tailored!

that's a good question! yes, you can you can tailor any article of clothing! however i can't say i have tailored one before and tailoring knitwear is a harder ad more expensive to do.

Hey Daniel, actually it WAS a trend i was trying it out lol. This video was filmed almost a year ago and wearing cargos and suit jackets was "in" however the concept of tailoring is still there in the video. To see where my style has evolved i'd suggest you watch my more recent videos! Cheers!
