Sounds like the weather men, but I do agree with you. Media mail is the slowest cheapest way to send something- that is why it Is only cost a couple $s. It usually Travels by truck, so that is why it takes so long, and it only gets a scan when it gets to the sorting facility for standard mail. I have heard there are some big changes coming for all Parcels and how they are sorted later this year.

Sorry- thats on us. Someone missed scans: probably several people. It is also possible that it was left in a piece of “ supposedly empty equipment”, which can sit on a dock or in a corner until someone needs it. Hopefully you get some movement soon on it.

Is this a package you mailed to someone? (There are so many things it could be, but a suggestion.) If so check your local Post Office. It is possible it was returned to you for some reason and you never received a notice, and it is sitting at your PO.

Contact your PO and ask. Maybe the carrier will remember. They can check the scans and see where it was delivered- but in an apartment complex they can probably not narrow it done to the exact apartment.

Not sure what your situation is- the Post office is allowed to open mail: especially in the instance of people listing the mail piece as books/ media mail. ( the reason for this is people lie about what they are mailing to get a cheaper rate). If you are not getting packages that are listed as media mail/ bound printed matter or book rate, you could reach out the the Postal Inspection service if you think a postal employee is tampering with your mail.

W2s should be delivered if everything is correct with the address. Most companies do not want W2s forwarded- so if you moved since last year you might not get it.

Anything is possible- your guy knows he could get in trouble if caught. ( but yes your carrier can scan your package missent or undeliverable and sent it back out. But again- he would get in a lot of trouble if he got caught, so it sounds like a sortation problem: your label could be smeared or partially missing, or you may have another label stuck to your package. I would have to see the tracking info to give you my opinion. Do not leave it on here. Tell me about these cards that are getting bent? Is this ebay letter rate/ mailed in a regular envelope?

@@nothingbutcardboard I buy a lot of cards from Japan and for what ever reason those cards need to be signed for. I think my mail man didn’t like the fact that he had to walk towards the back of my apartments to deliver these cards. My only guess is he got mad because I would order lots of cards at the time so he had to walk to deliver them at least 2-3 times a week. A lot of my others that were left in the mailbox were starting to be bent more and more often. Some sellers from Japan use thin cardboard to protect the cards so it was easily bendable. Then I started noticing even just my regular mail being smashed into my mailbox. I had to file a claim every time these cards came bent to get my money back. Now my cards come bent still but only once in a while now not as much as it used to happen. It usually happens more with eBay plain white envelope since those are easiest to mess with. I’m sure they told him to be more careful but it’s still happening. Sometimes I think it just happens in transit since it probably passes threw a lot of hands but then I see how he leaves my mail smashed it makes me question if he’s doing it on purpose or not.

Usually just a couple- depends on your area. If it keeps going to the same facility over and over, there could be an issue with the label or barcode. Call 1-800 ask USPS- they can look into it and get a Service Request going for you.

Call the 800 # an have them check it for you. You can also go to your PO and pick it up if that is possible. 1 800 ask-usps.

It depends on different variables. If you are mailing a lot- 500+ it may be cheaper to get a bulk mail account. If you are just mailing a few each month you have several options. It sounds like they could just go as a 1st class letter. ( if they are like an Amazon gift card- semi rigid and fit in your envelope) The tracking is the tricky part: to track a letter it would need to be certified mail and would require a signature. If you sent them as a spur/parcel it would depend on the zip code it is going to: they would run $4.75-$5.50. ( these could go in a padded or bubble mailer and would include tracking: the tracking would just be a scan when delivered and no signature is required.

Sorry this happened to you, and it happened twice. Hopefully it shows up soon- some of the problems are things get missent, and they do not receive “ missent scan”, so it looks like it has no movement for days.

I could possibly do an video on insurance in the future, insuring a package is easy, it the claims that can be a pain. And I am not sure about how UPS works. Thanks, John

Not sure what the question is.? Pitney Bowes is a meter machine for mailing things out- not sure what tracking you are asking about. If you purchased something that you are tracking it could be a few things: is this an ebay letter rate or package? Sometimes the seller does not print a label for a few days, and sometimes the seller will print a label and not mail it for a few days. So, USPS tracking and the amount of time it takes does not start until they have the package in their possession. Let me know if this helps?

She must not have scanned the package after she attached the label. Anyone can track a package, how long has it been? I would say it is on the way to the buyer, and will get a scan when it reaches his PO.

Could be any number of reasons. Was there any tracking info and if so what did they say: forward, no such #….) Chances are it was thrown in the wrong piece of equipment and missent to another office.( there should be a scan for that) Also possible it got stuck to another package: maybe something happened to the label. Hopefully it was just missent to another office and you get it in a couple days.

There is no way to contact them directly- Atlanta is the mail recovery center. if you have already, go to usps.com and fill out a missing mail form. Be very specific on whats inside- PSA order, cards inside- players names and card #s. All the info is on the form inside- so you should get your cards back. Bad news is this is a huge facility and it is only a couple months since Christmas so it will probably take a while. I wish I had more information for you, but it is just gonna take some time. I hope it all works out- please contact me with an outcome or any updates you might get.

I would have to see the package to know for sure, but here are my thoughts. (I am assuming it was not mailed from you in Fla to someone else in Fla.?) Sounds like it is being returned to you- either by mistake or there is something wrong with the address, postage, packaging. Other wise it was probably just missent, clerks made a mistake and sent it to the wrong state, and it will be delayed a few days- but the tracking should update. Does the tracking show out for delivery for your zip code?

Anything is possible. Priority mail is, or used to be 2 to 3 days, so they should not have promised 2 days. ( now it is more like 3-5 days) There have been a lot of these issues recently. The scans only happen when they get to the sorting center, so it is possible it will get a scan early in the morning and then Be out for delivery the same day. Sorry this is happening, it is embarrassing to me after working their for so long- to see the terrible service we are giving customers, to America.

Can be a couple things: Most likely the Post Office were he dropped it off did not give the package the “ arrival scan”- this is the scan that shows the PO is in position of the package. And it is possible the shipper has not shipped it- I have had this happen and a couple says later the package gets an acceptance scan. It will get scanned again when it reaches a sorting facility. Unfortunately all you can do is give it a few days.

It would be odd that there have not been any scans in 5 days- even if the mail man missed the “picked up scan”- it should have gotten a scan when it went thru the machines. Just to double check, it is being mailed USPS not UPS? ( lots of auto store use UPS- because items are heavier) If it is Ground Advantage it could take 5 business days to get to you- if it is Priority Mail, it would be 2 or 3 days: only mentioning this, because it should get a scan when it reaches your PO.

@AriR6R -snow storms could affect it a day or 2, but should not affect movement for 7 days. Unfortunately it is hard to get people that want to work, and the PO is not training people as well as we used to. 1 big issue is packages get missent and the clerks do not give it a missent scan, so it looks like it has no movement for days. No. Some times things get hung up in customs. You can also contact your Post Office and see if it is there- maybe they missed the scan or the notice got lost, and it is there waiting for you to pick it up. ( rare, but does happen- also, some international packages require a signature) Also- could mean the seller printed the label, but never actually mailed it: there should be a scan showing the PO is in possession of the card- or that it entered customs…( just should be a scan by the PO if they have received it.

Is this going to a residence? If so that could cause a problem, the carrier knows which names are living at the address- and if the see something different, it could get returned. Not sure why you would want a fake name? If it is your return address, I would encourage you to use something that does not look like sports cards. Some bad people in the world, just better if everyone does not know whats inside.

I’ve had a bubble mailer ripped open and the card stolen and taped back together with 5 stickers that said “received damaged” I’ve stopped using bubble mailers because of this, but I’m more concerned with cards coming back to me from psa or pwcc that have thousands of dollars inside.

Agree- this is a problem, I did a video on this. PSA ships the cards so they need a signature, which helps: buy if it is a Fed Ex, Ups or USPS employee it will not matter. As long as your mailman knows the name you are using, you should be fine. Your mailman just needs to know its your mail.

The only service that get a refund is Express Mail- it has a $ back guarantee. Priority mail does come with insurance so you can file a claim, if it is lost or stolen. Priority mail is suppose to be 2-3 day delivery, but is not guaranteed.

The only guaranteed service is express mail- it is actually called Priority Express service, are you sure this is not the service you used? And yes, if you paid any amount of $ for a different service it is not guaranteed. Did you mail something that is taking to long to get there, or is the tracking not updating any new info? ( and is this something you mailed or that you are getting delivered)
