Always enjoy the videos! Question, how to you determine the centering of the optic cards when they are not centered evenly on all sides (jake Ferguson)?

@@Allmikety The optic this year is a little more difficult than in years past. But the rectangle that has Jake Ferguson name in, you want to compare the gap there from edge of the card to the left side of that rectangle and then on the right side gap from edge to that same rectangle. Top to bottom should be a little easier; look at the gap between the edge of the card and the optic logo (top right) and compare that to the gap from edge of the card and the bottom of the rectangle containing the name.

I'm selling $2 to $10 average cards and now have some PWE that states out for delivery stuck for a week. I reached out to two buyers. one stated he already received his item, the other stated not received yet, I told them to open a case for item not received, ebay has up to $50 guarantee per envelope incase it gets lost

You can use the Kurt’s, but be careful with Meguiar’s as it is abrasive and can take the paint off of foil and paper cards

If you have spendable funds that you want to withdraw. If you click on “your total balance” there should be a “withdraw” button. Then you would need to link it to your bank account.

I think the deal with grading is you have to get the more inexperienced people to get the good grades. They might miss stuff. The veterans probably gonna be more nit-picky and can't grade them all. It's luck of the draw. Was told by PSA they have 2 independent people look at the cards and give a grade. If they match, it's done.

Friends, just got back a small order from SGC.. Now., I've been a heavy collector for going on 30 years, my father was an artist, I'm an artist, and I can easily eyeball 9's all day.. It just comes with experience and training.. Get this: Stop Tooling around with SGC 9.5s.. They [ARE] the equivalent of PSA 10, but you can buy them for much less, and folks on eBay will work with you a bit on price, especially these days.. . 'It's just that simple. Remember: SGC, established in the late 90's, applies the Psychology of the Classroom Standard Grading Scale, and not 10 Good, 9 Kinda and 8 Boo Scale.. Instead..'Think About It This Way: [Below] 100 = Outstanding 95 = A+ 90 = A 85 = B+ 80 = B 70 = C (Average) 60 = D (Below Average) 50 Hope this Helps. Best! \\// '

Ex graders have said they spend 30 to 90 seconds per card, that includes taking out of the holder, recording grades etc. it’s hilarious that people think PSA is sitting there scrutinizing the cards. They rush through and slap grades on. Hell, they’re in such a rush they not infrequently do severe damage to a card. Not nearly as much thought goes into the grades as people think. It’s easy to find PSA 10s on eBay that have visible flaws even viewing through the slab at a distance. Like everything else in this hobby the driving factor is the GAMBLE

I have a package that keeps going back and forth in my city 10 miles apart. Can the delivery driver purposely redirect the package to mess with me? I also buy and sell cards and had quite a few come bent in the last 6 months at least 10. I have to report it for insurance purposes. I don’t know if the delivery driver is mad because maybe they brought it to his attention that too many packages were damaged. What do you think? This has been happening more often now.

Anything is possible- your guy knows he could get in trouble if caught. ( but yes your carrier can scan your package missent or undeliverable and sent it back out. But again- he would get in a lot of trouble if he got caught, so it sounds like a sortation problem: your label could be smeared or partially missing, or you may have another label stuck to your package. I would have to see the tracking info to give you my opinion. Do not leave it on here. Tell me about these cards that are getting bent? Is this ebay letter rate/ mailed in a regular envelope?

@@nothingbutcardboard I buy a lot of cards from Japan and for what ever reason those cards need to be signed for. I think my mail man didn’t like the fact that he had to walk towards the back of my apartments to deliver these cards. My only guess is he got mad because I would order lots of cards at the time so he had to walk to deliver them at least 2-3 times a week. A lot of my others that were left in the mailbox were starting to be bent more and more often. Some sellers from Japan use thin cardboard to protect the cards so it was easily bendable. Then I started noticing even just my regular mail being smashed into my mailbox. I had to file a claim every time these cards came bent to get my money back. Now my cards come bent still but only once in a while now not as much as it used to happen. It usually happens more with eBay plain white envelope since those are easiest to mess with. I’m sure they told him to be more careful but it’s still happening. Sometimes I think it just happens in transit since it probably passes threw a lot of hands but then I see how he leaves my mail smashed it makes me question if he’s doing it on purpose or not.

I'll work for fooling / "improving the look" - of the cards but it wont fool the PSA graders under 30x magnifications

I wouldn’t recommend soaking cards you are planning to send to PSA. The risk of damaging the card is too high. That being said, the way PSA is pumping out slabs they can’t be spending more than 30 seconds per card even if they are using a 30x magnification. We have seen plenty of cards slip by with 10’s that should have gotten 9’s and even 8’s.

@nothingbutcardboard Do you send your flips back to get deleted from the other companies? You know you can take a picture and They will remove it from pop reports. This helps your resale value as well, especially for your low pop cards! I have made tools to properly and safely remove the card from PSA, SGC, and Beckett Slabs. This may save you time and greatly reduce mistakes from cracking! Sincerely, TBBW🐺

population control is a major problem I sent 10 vlad jr topps chrome refractor rookies in to PSA got 1 ten 3 nines 3 eights 2 sevens and 1 six they were all beautiful cards seriously 8's,7's and 6's for pristine ultra modern they are a joke
