My video attempts to capture the magical visit to Kuala Lumpur in 2024, showcasing various landmarks such as Petronas Towers, Merdeka 118, and Merdeka Square. I show you the sights of Kuala Lumpur, including the Petronas Towers, and highlight the multicultural influences in the city's history. If you have any questions or comments about KL, I'll try my best to answer them for you.

The reason why the Malaysian national monument looks the same as the Iwo Jima one is because the same guy designed both....Felix Weihs de Weldon an American sculptor.

@nickloong

@TravelingTutor It's about an hour away from the city centre by car, or you can opt for the buses which will drop tourists off at the cable cars station en route to the resort up in the mountains. It's not to be missed, but remember to bring a jacket, as it gets a bit chilly up there. It's not to be missed, and it's a cool and fun tourist spot where locals go to chill!

the guide dude was like..80% BS and 20% decent historical facts 😂 (in a good kinda way)...on the war statue ie Tugu, it wasnt quite clearly emphasized that the war was mainly against the local communist insurgents under mainland PRC guidance (official Emergency Period : 1948-60). Whereas, the actual "independence" of the country was a peaceful process of negotiated handover of administration by the British colonist.
