There are a number of reasons why you struggle to be visible at work. These reasons are getting in the way of you being noticed, recognised and valued the way that you should. If you've ever felt rejected, overlooked 😂 or ignored at work then it's probably because you're struggling to build visibility.
It usually plays out by people not seeing the contribution you make, even though you work really hard at it. You don't get the credit you deserve. Sometimes, that credit and glory goes to someone else 🤔
Before you start working on how to build visibility at work, you need to identify what's blocking you from being visible in the first place. And in this video, I reveal seven common reasons why you struggle to be visible at work.
Watch this video to see if you're making any of these mistakes and learn tips for how to overcome them.

Do you see that being visible at work shouldn't be such a struggle to achieve? If you want to learn how to be visible in front of your boss, watch this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gNKSdtllq8XOoKs.html

For being visible, you just have to take care of your appearance, pretending to be self-confident every time no matter what you say, talking with the right tone of voice and being able to do chit-chat and jokes. That's it. It doesn't matter your real contribution, your ideas, etc. We live and work in a very basic and superficial society, where a lot of people are not that smart.

Thanks for the wonderful advice. It’s so true that there are some really pushy people in the workplace who try to take away others’ credit in order to look good in front of the managers. How do you make sure your ideas are not ‘hijacked’ by someone else for their own benefit. Can you make a video about this. Thankyou

My advice is step back from promoting yourself at work, and work on your side hustle. Become your own boss. Focus on employing yourself and not employment at will.

My manager's manager provided comment like i need to enhance design and solutions in software development l. But my solution and design never failed to meet client expectation. More importantly he is non technical guy. I asked my manager why i get an comment like this and average rating. He told me that he don't know and i responded back that i don't resume my work. I put my work on hold on last Friday. I will be having a call with my manager's manager tomorrow. What can i ask him when comments and rating cannot be changed when it is already allocated? Please let me know.

Nuanced question here. In regards to the coffee. If I feel like getting people coffee and do it, is that OK or a bad move or look?
@kararonin
@kararonin 2 ай бұрын
Great question! It's not necessarily bad, unless it becomes a ritual and people expect this of you all the time. But if you just want to be nice, it's ok to once in a while get coffee.

how can I be visible without "scaring" who is at a level above my in the career and make them thinking that you are there only to pull the rug out from under someone? Happened to me some years ago, I dared to sign also with MY name the report that I MYSELF only wrote, instead with only the name of the supervisor .....and I get mysteriously fired 2 weeks later

Kara as a fresher engineer which company should i apply for more (type of companies) to get massive career growth at faster pace without being stuck in normal routine promotions ? How to cope up with time lost in yrs due to career gap and open doors of success..

Thanks for your questions Mohib. Without knowing a lot about the engineering industry, this is a really difficult question for me to answer. What I can recommend is to focus on jobs/companies that are known to offer career growth. When you apply (in cover letter and interview), make it known that you're motivated to fast-track your career and ask what options they provide for this. Gauge their answers to choose the best company for you.
