Everyone would have survived if the movie world operated under actual physics, laws, and basic logic. A car rams into the truck that's carrying the zombie. Instead of the truck doing what a truck would do in real life and obliterating the car and move on, it explodes for no reason. Instead of the military blocking off the road for other vehicles or providing air support, they do none of that. Instead if transporting the alpha via air they do it by road. Instead of having a competent military force to transfer it, they send the guys from clown college.

How to survive: don't waste time talking when you can be walking. Save the big speeches for when you are out of danger.

Based on my conversation with my buddy George, there’s no way I would survive this. I spend too much time making up stories and jokes to ever escape a Zombie Apocolypse. I had better hope in an event such as this that I’m in a bunker with Wow Such Gaming and if possible Roanoke Gaming as well. My chances of survival might improve.

Haven't seen the movie, but I thought the parachute guys had needed to bug out of their plane for some reason, having no other choice but to parachute out of there, but seeing how many parachutes were in the shot...yeah incompetence xD

Ngl, I actually loved the idea of the zombie tiger.

FWIW, the zombies' helmets are pointless because bullets would still zip right through them. Idk where the Alpha found his helmet or what he made it from, but even if it's steel, it'd be some kind of thin, mild steel that even handgun rounds would go right through. Even modern ballistic kevlar helmets are turned to swiss cheese by rifle rounds. If you think about it, 'real' zombies wouldn't be very scary unless they literally funcion via magic or something because they're still just biological machines dependant on blood pumping to muscles to move or function. They're as fragile as humans but without the same intelligence or any sort or survival instinct.

When the Coyote says "You should see it when it rains" I did not take that to mean that they got up and began to move again. I think it mostly means any of the zombies within the pile that are still "Active" will begin to move and grab is they have limbs, or at least gnash their teeth. So they become a stationary threat that if you were unlucky to get trapped among could be dangerous.

The parachute troopers are being sent in the middle of hordes of zombie serve as bait. By sending live meat in the center where all zombies can see will draw them in one spot. This will give people time to set up the wall of trailers and avoid waves of monsters tryig to eat you. It's also why l think they tried shooting missiles in the center too. Either to wipe them out or cause more distraction.

If it weren't for the "smart/fast" zombies this would have been a good zombie movie but they had to fuck it up

So something I thought of, if you were to drop paratroopers into a horde of zombies, why not give the paratroopers 40 mm grenade launchers? Each grenade has a instant kill radius of about 7 to 8 meters for shoulder fired. And a casualty range of up to 400 feet. One guy with 6 shots in the drum could kill or reduce hundreds of zombies down to just a head before he hits the ground. Some of them would still die but it wouldn't be like dropping them into a wood chipper

Why can't they napalm the zombies again? They have confined the horde in the city, dropping napalm in the middle of the city while the infantry pick the zombies one by one from the safety of the top of the container walls sounds logical enough. This is the first zombie movie I found unbearable so I might've missed something... or have I missed none since this is a movie from the guy who directed the "Save Martha" movie?

There are some topics worth exploring about this kind of zombies: - Do they regenerate? The alpha at least seems to be able to regenerate since none of the gunshot wounds remain on his body. - Are the shamblers zombies while the alphas are infected thus some being more intelligent than others? - Do they get more intelligent over time? - Why would you go to the ground level exit when you stated that you were going to go to the roof and steal the helicopter?

So like Basically every "Normal" Zombie Apocalypse: *Don't be Dumb and Survive* It's hard but I still have hope for some people

Well, in DEFENCE of the paratroopers dropping into a city full of zombies (and this is a far stretch), they were probably being dropped onto their assigned DZ (drop zone) which was most likely clear of zombies at that time in order to establish a defensive perimeter to get as many survivors out of the city as possible. As the aircraft were approaching OR as the paratroopers were being dropped, the DZ was suddenly & unexpectedly overrun. Being in a parachute and descending to earth towards a rather large group of highly agitated zombies, was pretty difficult to NOT land center-mass of them. So, knowing that they are about to die very horribly, time to pull out what weapons they had on them and..... Yep - I KNOW this is a far stretch, but watching that seen just irritates the zombie-snot out of me, so developed this ALTERNATIVE explanation whether they were Army, Air Force or Boy Scouts. Does not matter what agency or branch of service they were in, their DZ was probably suddenly/unexpectedly overrun.

I've not seen anyone cover the 2008 movie Doomsday. Would be interesting for a would/wouldn't survive episode

When I first watched this film I laughed so damn hard at the car explosion and then AGAIN nearly killed myself with laughter when I saw the paratrooper just dropping into a horde of zombies armed with a pistol lmfao. Like if you turn off your brain and watch just for the action it's tolerable. Sad part is this film has a lot of great concepts but can't for the life of itself meld them together into a coherent story.
