WI v. DAHMER (1992): It's been 30 years since Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested. Dahmer then pleaded guilty but insane to the murders and dismemberments of 15 boys and men. A jury would decide if Dahmer was sane at the time of the crimes. Depending on their verdict, Dahmer was facing life in prison or admittance to a mental institution. Dahmer was killed in 1994, by his fellow prison inmate Christopher Scarver.

Idk care what anyone says. For a person to do what Dahmer did has to be mentally ill. Sad he didn’t have parents and family that recognized his issues from a young age. I’ve seen interviews of his father and he was one step above his son. To bad his parents and family didn’t get their heads out of the sand - he needed help and there wasn’t anyone to make him get it.

Those cops deserve to lose their job because THEY DIDNT EVEN RUN DAHMERS NAME.They gave a unresponsive naked young looking boy with no ID back to him without even running his name or taking him to the hospital. One running of Dahmers name would’ve brought up the fact that he was a CONVICTED sex offender and that would’ve been it. This pisses me off so much. So many people failed the community

Sometimes dramatization in the court with cases like this, can cause more of an impact, I think that because it was obvious that Jeff was getting a guilty, then the prosecutor didn’t need to act the words he was saying, out loud, but I love a dramatic prosecutors statement & especially as someone as heinous as Dahmer, it hits more emotionally.

Right! They weren’t even connecting the dots of multiple men from Club 219 were being witnessed getting into cabs or busses with this white male and never being seen again. One canvass of the gay clubs would have yielded so much information that it’s clear they did not do it. They didn’t care about those gay men. Especially cause so many of them were gay BLACK men. Yup, I said it. Where’s the lie? Dahmer had been accused of drugging a guy who testified at trial that immediately after getting out of the hospital he went to the police station and told them where Dahmer lived. He was drugged then put on a bud where someone noticed his drugged state and bought him to the hospital. He was robbed of cash and jewelry . So many men go missing from club 219 and here they have a guy who is drugging people from that club and you investigators don’t take him in for questioning? They weren’t looking for those men, they didn’t care for those men. They had blinkers on to anyone who tried to warn them about Dahmer cause he was a white man amongst lower income blacks. So clearly THEY we’re the problem. My blood boils every time I think about it.

It's so funny how much trials have changed since that time. I think today, the name of the drugs he used on his victims would have been said. But, he was worried that if he said the name of it, someone might get the idea to use it to also drug people. But now, with everyone having access to the internet and any bit of information they could ever want to know.... there's no point to withhold the name of a drug that can be used in this particular way.

He contadicts himself very early on by saying this wasn't about dead bodies and that was a second option if he didn't get what he wants. He then says that the first guy Dahmer killed that he didn't even ask for sex so wasn't turned down. In my opinion this was ALL about the dead bodies. The guy was clearly obsessed with that and a full blown necrophiliac. He even said that he didn't enjoy the actual killing and didn't want them to suffer although later on he obviously didn't care by trying to keep them alive and they suffered badly. Early on though he did make it quick or drugged them before killing them. I'm not saying anything in his defence, just that the prosecution contradicted himself. I also don't think Dahmer was legally insane because he was able to hide his crimes, knew right from wrong and able to work a job. An insane person (in the eyes of the law) doesn't hide their crime because they don't think they did anything wrong. He's clearly got mental issues up the wazoo but insane to the point you won't be held responsible for your crimes clearly not.
@jeromegarcia5396
@jeromegarcia5396 2 жыл бұрын
I caught that contradiction too, you can tell he was laying it on thick for the first case outside his jurisdiction, so no real personal knowledge and in doing so revealed the heart of the case, his desire for dead body sex... This wasn't about sex like all people, this was obviously different do to the obvious trial because his acts... I also question the occult timing in the claim, they say that came later... Lol umm well he showed signs at day one as well... I always question prosecution because they want the story to be the most felt in everyway by adding explosion and fire to probably a very basic situation... But ole boy was definitely a predator day one because he didn't ask, he just did... So yeah this introduction is the nicest I've even heard someone explain a serial killer, after this I picture Dahmer with pigtails and shy, not the land demon he truly was... Gesh

Robin you got it wrong. First victim started talking about girls then Jeff realized victim wasn't homosexual and killed him in order to have sex with him. He only killed men who he found to be sexually attractive. I think Ted Bundy and Jeff are the same; both sex addicts who wanted a shortcut and instant sex pleasure that's why they killed people they found to be attractive and then had sex with dead corpses of victims. Ted killed young attractive women and Jeff killed young attractive men. Ted blamed it on porn and violent detective magazines and Jeff even said he viewed people only as a object of pleasure, he wanted total control of a person and didn't want to worry about their wishes.
