Back in the day, I owned a 1970 Mc and a 1974 Mc fun times driving those cars in south bay, California cruising Redondo Beach, Manhatten Beach, yes even Hermosa....

I seen and videoed this car in Gulf Port Ms last year at Cruising the Coast when started it up people flocked around it like crazy . I have a 70 MC myself but this is the cleanest and meanest I have ever seen in person

That thing is mean looking. I have one that is a 1972 Monte. Those cars are underated. I chose to put a big block in mine. Sounds like that's what you have too. I chose the stock hood but barely fit everything under it. I am sure you chose that style hood for clearance issues and even if you didn't it still looks awesome and sounds great. Good job.

por supuesto 👍 🤔 que lo vage de altura alante le avia puesto dos aspirales nuevos i quedaba mui alto fue un reto buscarle la altura más baja le corte 5 centímetros a cada aspiral con una segueta o esmeril mo recuerdo mui vien luego que vajo alante atrás kevpuse gomas de carroseria hasta que quedaron los cauchos a 2 dedos osea a una pulgada de altura jejeje se veía vagito o vien 😉 😁

The hood ruins the car. I get every other upgrade, but the hood has to go. Sorry Tom, should have gone with something more subtle. Something that says I wonder what's under there. Not something that says WTF, does it have a nuclear power plant for an engine? Other than that, cool.

Thats what's great about the world we live in... Varying tastes and opinions! If everyone liked the same thing, it would be a pretty boring and bland place, right? I love my hood 😊

That hood is garbage and almost ruins the look of a beautiful car. The original hood looks more modern than that one. This kind of aftermarket hood design and other ones like it has been ruining the look of cars and trucks for decades, and should have never been invented.

@@rorexjr If its not stock then i doubt it. I have seen a lot of cars with nice and unique shape and lines on the hoods, that were covered by cowl hoods.

@@JR-ic4hl again, to each his own. Your opinion is just that, your opinion. I to have seen many, many cars and built quite a few myself. I built this car to be my own personal "Hot Wheels" and in my opinion, the cowl hood is the correct look for what I want. If I had wanted to do a simple restoration, a stock flat hood would have probably been a better fit. This car is a 650HP highly modified Restomod with tons of upgrades and I was in no way looking for a stock/plain look. Maybe you can answer me this? I've never publicly criticized another person's car based off of my own preconceived ideas of what I believe looks right... I've seen plenty of cars with things done to them that I didn't like or wouldn't have done myself, but I've never pointed them out to the builders or publicly on any media forum. Not my car, build, dream or money. Not throwing shade at you or calling you out, just curious why you feel the need to belittle someone else's work by saying part of it is garbage, because it doesn't meet your standard or expectations? Again, no ill intent in the question above, not my style. I generally am curious??
