Lyrics: Tapwe mistahî ê-miyonâkwan, kânîmihk ekotah "Truly all these dancers look fine, there are many here" (although I might be slightly off on this, I'm still learning Cree, but they're saying something like this! They're complimenting the dancers!)

Reconnecting with my culture is the biggest part of my healing process. Hearing the drum makes me feel some type of way, gives me goosebumps and makes me feel emotional kind of a feel like my soul has finally realized that this is where I belong 🙏🏽 can’t wait for the powwow trail. Covid really took a toll on all my people. Stay blessed my brothers and sisters xo

As a metis even though this is a fraction of my peoples culture i get super proud of my ancestory watching this. The cree is where half of my peoples culture came from.
