Exactly. Some people are against step siblings being together. And if they had grown up together, I'd be against it, but they met when they were both almost adults, I think they're beautiful together... I hope that the mother realizes she's wrong. I wouldn't be angry if she died... Or idk... Got brain cancer and was suddenly okay with them being together 😊😅

This movie focused a lot on her past trauma and life so if they do a second one (I hope so) they should take a dive into his trauma because obviously she accidentally struck a nerve with him with that "what would you know about a mother's love?" The way he just immediately stop his car and went into serious mode tells me something happened between his mom and him and it's a rough topic. Actually, there's a lot of stuff about this movie that they didn't go into that I would love to see the writers take a dive into next movie. Not that it's bad writing that they left out some stuff. It's more like they left unexplained details so they have somewhere to start on the second one for writing. They definitely left the movie with a cliffhanger.

I agree. There is no cliffhanger as such, in the first book. But the first book don’t explain his past all that well. You get the cliff notes, but that is about it. You do get a better explanation about why he is living that double life, what is at stake, that I think really was needed in the movie to hit home why he, as an adult, has to do what his father tells him to, because the consequences is too dire (involves Nicks visitation rights with his half sister Maggie). I think I will read the next book but skip the movie. Won’t want this one ruined if it follows the other wattpad-story tropes.

The name of the book is the same as the movie. My fault (culpa mía) by Mercedes Ron. It is the first of 3 books in the series. Unfortunately the “translation” or more like rewrite into english and the americanization is horrible. It is annoying everything has to be fake, dubbed movies, rewrites instead of translations because it has to take place in America, otherwise Americans has to use their imagination or read subtitles 😕

@@allyhvis6046 The last race was to be between Nick and Ronnie as always. But Nick not driving means he forfeits and Ronnie wins. The competition was between Nick and Ronnie, not the cars in itself. Ronnie purposely tricked Noah to race knowing he would win, even if he lost the actual race
