Hi Paul, I still remember the first time I saw a Deltic at Kings Cross, The ARGYLL AND SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDER, back in the early 80’s, such an amazing sight and sound as it pulled out bound for Scotland. I was allowed in my teens with a friend to go to London to go train spotting and although I wasn’t as interested in collecting numbers I loved watching the trains leave and come in, fascinated in where they had come from or where they were going. Not much done here again sadly, I’ve been away playing golf, garage project and taking care of things for my mum as there are lots of things we’ve found she can’t do since my dad passed away so Exehaven taking a bit of a back seat at the moment. Always a pleasure to see what you've created at Wickford and Pawlish, some great shots of your layout and music to listen to. I've been adding to my Cornish English China Clay (ECC) wagons, which have only recently been retired. There's some great images of these in use in the southwest of England. Good morning Paul, and hello Wickford! Now we're talking! Peaks, Growlers, Whistlers and Deltics - this is the age of the train for me, just in the wrong colour! Lol! Loved the mail coaches behind the 40! I definitely need class 40's and 55's in my life! I'm hoping that Farish will retool them soon, or maybe someone like Revolution Trains will give them a go! Very enjoyable to watch as always Paul. There is something about the design of these locos that just suggests they really mean business, quit apart from the sound of them. Very much liked the TPO behind the (I think ) Class 40. The mid 50s style are very hard to come by so you have done well to get so many. Stephen
