@Wickford_N_Gauge well he'll probably steal something else in a revenge attack. There's something a little different coming later, an occasional series of videos following my grandson's first model railway build, a 009 layout. It's mainly to document his progress on his journey. Morning Mr Paul ☘️ how are you? I hope all is well with you. Thank you for another edifying video. When you run the full compliment of coaches it really advertises what can be done in N Gauge, brilliant thank you. Wait, then you run the local two car against the eleven car and boy everything is shown to perfection. A cracking video that will be hard to beat - unless a rake of industrial power is pulled by an old chuffing 55 Deltic - to me the pinnacle of design that has yet to be bettered. A loco with attitude totally outshines the modern dust carts. Take care 🌺🌺

@@Wickford_N_Gauge Hi Paul, I must admit I am waiting with bated breath etc for my GWR 43 that it is now in stock and Postman Pat needs to do the collection and delivery. There is something about the GWR green, (not as nice as the Emerald Green ☘️☘️that is! ) that is quite fetching, think of the Paddington Kato offering. Excited me? You bet, this year is going to be really good, maybe just maybe Pat and his pussy will be busy 😹😹

Evening Paul. I've just had one of those moments when for no apparent reason you realise you have forgotten to do something. I watched your video yesterday morning and as I was sticking chimney pots on my terrace houses, I realised I haven't commented. Not sure about the association of chimney pots and Wickford; it is probably something Freudian. Good to see the voyagers going round. I never used to like them, but the first class seating in them is very good (the Senior Rail Card is a wonderful thing, and being able to plan travel outside peak times!). Another relaxing time spent watching the trains go by. Stephen

Hello Paul, I've bought some more timber for the loft! Time to get busy. I noticed there was an advertising hoarding missing at the staion. Surely it needs an advert for Dickins Cider? My wife was a wine drinker but ever since she tried a Dickins Cider she had been much happier. Best, Simon

Greetings Perth and hello Chris 👋 I never clean the track 🫣 running trains weekly seems to do the trick 🤞 if i do get a stoppage 🤭 I will give the spot a quick rub with a Peco rubber 😉 Most of the issues I have had are loco related 😠 with poor pickup design or CV's starving the locomotive of power 🔋 Many thanks for watching and very best wishes from the Emerald Isle ☘️

@@Wickford_N_Gauge that's interesting, do you find the foreign locos run better? For me the most irritating things is locos stalling which always seem to be track or wheel/contact etc. Very frustrating at times, need chips with built in stay alive.

Chris, the pickup "design" seems to be one important thing 🤔 and the more connections the better 👍 Locomotive weight is also important 😇 but quality control is probably the most important 😠 some locomotives come from the factory 🏭 built not to work 🤬 caked in oil or grease and with wires broken 🙄 You would nearly need to be a service expert to get the most from this hobby 🤔 no matter what the scale 😝 Adding stay alives would be much more useful than sound 😇 but I'm sure manufacturer's don't want to admit that their product is a "dodgy" design to begin with 🫣
