Wow dude the same thing like me. One side more higher and higher with 1cm different lol and looks very assymetric. Other side looks like a perfect line with some irregularities. When i was 22yo i thought my hairline is receding but year ago nothing changed i had such a big stress and work with trichologist i using finasteride for half year and stopped. The main problem why my hair looks like receding because of gym and testosterone level "jump" because of high weights and food to make muscles. Never gonna back at gym to make power workout lol

@enigmayt1305
@enigmayt1305 4 жыл бұрын
Good information here. To clarify a little further: by the time we reach our early to mid 20s, most of us will have experienced a small amount of thinning in the crown, vertex and temple regions of our scalps which is commonly but not always accompanied by some mild recession of the hair line resulting in the 'widows peak' (Bill Clinton is a prime example of a man who has kept his childhood hairline.) Afterwards, some men will not experience any further rescission of their hairlines as they grow older although most of them will continue to lose density in the aforementioned regions albeit at a snails pace and will likely still have a decent head of hair by the time they become old age pensioners. On the reverse side of the coin roughly one third of us will continue to lose hair after our mature hairline is visible (with some poor souls being almost completely bald by the time the mature hairline is visible) either in the more common classic horseshoe pattern (were the hairline continues to recede as a visible 'bald spot' enlarges itself in the crown region oftentimes culminating in total baldness when the two 'meet in the middle' so to speak) or alternatively the less common diffuse pattern (were the crown, vertex and temple regions are all thinning out at the same time and at the same speed.) Male pattern baldness (or androgenetic alopecia) in both forms can oftentimes be treated using a combination of 5-alpha-Reductase inhibitors (drugs which decrease the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in the scalp thereby slowing the rate of balding with the potential regrowth) such as finasteride alongside topical solutions such as minoxidil (a medication which stimulates hair growth) and shampoos which contain ketoconazole (ketoconazole is an anti-fungal medication which inhibits 5AR, the enzyme which converts testosterone to DHT.) If you hadn't figured it out yet, it is DHT which is thought to be largely responsible for the onset and progression of male pattern baldness in susceptible men. It should go without saying that the earlier you're diagnosed with male pattern baldness and are able to begin treatment, the better the outcome in terms of being able to significantly slow down the progression of the condition often is (and I should mention here that results can vary greatly depending on individual biological responses to drugs such as Finasteride.) Fortunately for myself I responded positively to 'the big three' (finasteride, minoxidil, ketoconazole shampoos) which have helped me to maintain a full head of thick hair for almost a decade since I was first diagnosed with diffuse pattern hair loss in 2010 with no discernable side effects or loss in efficiency (on a somewhat related note I was also able to use topical minoxidil on my previously patchy beard for a period of six months which fixed the problem permanently.) I'll finish by saying don't go out in search of the treatments I've cited here without doing your research first as allergic reactions are possible and allergy testing is must. Moreover most people will experience some side effects when using 5-alpha-Reductase inhibitors such as finasteride. It's for you to decide if the potential risks of using treatments like the big three outweigh the benefits. Click the link below for more detailed information about the treatments I've cited in this comment: www.baldingbeards.com/best-hair-loss-treatment/#The_best_hair_loss_treatment_for_men_The_big_three

Hi Ben, here's a suggestion to help hair growth that costs absolutely nothing and it totally works - at least it did for me. Use your palms to lightly massage your head until you feel a bit of heat on your scalp. Press onto your scalp so that it is the scalp that moves, not your hair. Then move on to the next area. You can do this while shampooing your hair and when rinsing the shampoo off. I did this every day since Jan 2020 and after more than 6 months, I notice my hairline has improved. I don't have any photo proof becos I didn't even think it would work. Try it and see if it works for you.

@@zackadesina they say cancer isn't a disease aswell, but a defensive mechanism. Just like a person needs 20years of fuked lifestyle to get diabetes. And since male pattern baldness is correlated with other cardiovascular diseases I wouldn't disregard this so much. Who decides that losing your hair is not a disease. Cuz it's cosmetic? Would be losing your front teeth be treated the same way? Over 50% of kids have amalgram fillings. I mean how extreme fucked need a kid to be to leech steelmaterial out of your own body. I just say our body imbalances start alrdy prebirth, and get magnified by shitty diets from our parents. Is aging not a disease? It could be also a simple mineral imbalance. Not neccessary dangerous till you're 70. Just like prostate cancer usually is ignored cuz u die before it does lower your quality of life. Most people who have hairloss have on hairtests almost always either toxic amounts or no amounts of copper. And almost always a daily higher intake of calcium compared to magnesium. It's certainly an interesting topic.

Men who have more square head shapes (and thus skull shapes) usually also have more quare looking hairlines and tend to be the ones who have the non balding windows peaks. These are the ones sometimes confused with receiding hairlines and are called'mature hairlines'. The reason why some men get mature hairlines while not appear to be balding any further than that is because their hairlines changes shape because their skull is changing shape rather than any LOSS of hair. You see, when men transform from boys into men, their skull gets slightly more or a lot more square in shape. Obviously this underlying change in skull shape that things on top of that like the skin is streched to fit on that new shape. Usually facial features get more "square" looking too, like the square chins men typically get. Guys like Jude law are good examples of men who have very rounded heads. His skull shape is very round. The same thing goes for Ben Athur here. Also a very rounded head. Typically they do not have widows peaks. Usually guys with more dome-ish, rounded head shapes also have more delicate features than those who have square looking heads. Colin Farrell on the other hand, has a more square head shape, which more often has one. Some men continue to get more squar ehead shapes (like david beckham) and thus his hairline looks more square too. Similarly also his other facial features seem to increase in "masculinity". His brow bone continues to have grown quite a lot since he was 25.

My hairline is a bit better from David Beckham . I am 15,5 years old and this is how my hairline is since I was 12,5 years old . I think it is definitely moved back compared to my friends’. However my hair is pretty thick and and smooth . Is this a sign that I will get bald in future or I shouldn’t worry ?

Ben, my dad is balding but my grandpa has a consistent non receeded hairline despite smoking into his 60s. My dad smoked and drank and used gel and lost hair by 30, and my father side has no widow's peak. And my mother side has widow's peaks. Should i be worried about inheriting my dad's balding?

Hi, how's it going? I'm 44 years old and yeah yeah my front hairline is definitely receding. Unfortunately, it's not balding in the back which I think that's kind of more symmetrical looking because if somebody's bald in the back, you can tell that they're just bald but with the receding hairline, it sucks it. It's sort of reveals a bald spot or whatever.

Thanks for clarifying that some people are just mean. One “friend” of mine that really has a receding hairline told me that i’m balding. I have a widow peak since I was born, my hair is not falling (I never find hairs). When I had long hair the situation was different, but since I changed my hairstyle and my lifestyle now I have baby hairs growing constantly. I recommend to sleep well, eat healthy and consume green tea instead of coffee😉

I think youre massivly wrong here. You can still have an M-shaped hairline thats just a widows peak while not receeding. I, my brother and my father have had one since were children and none of us have receeded in anyway (except our dads having slightly matured). The hairline is futher back than normal but the hair at the peak is as thick as everywhere else. Its just how the hairline was like at birth

My mom used to tease me about my pronounced “widow's peak"-quite innocently, as she would have cut her tongue out rather than say something she thought would be truly hurtful- nonetheless, it wasn't until I reached my "three score and ten" that I became relatively confident that I wasn't going to suddenly lose my hair. Knock on wood and fingers crossed, both hairline and quantity/density have, so far, remained pretty much the same throughout my life. 🤞🤞 🤞

I guess I'm just worried cause it's not an exact straight line. Looking back on old photos it seems fine, I'm just tripping cause I changed my hairstyle from gelled up to permed, so anyone overly paranoid and worrying, just relax about it, go live your live innit. And if you still worry, just remember that one brown boy from a KZfaq comment told you to chill, so stop stressing. 🤟🏽

Mature hairline is a hairline that gets more square in shape because *the whole male skull grows more square in and after puberty* . a real.mature hairline is not balding because there is no hair loss, just a repositioning of the hairs as a consequence of repositioning of the skin, becauss of skull growth. There should be no miniaturation.
@PowerRedBullTypology
@PowerRedBullTypology 4 жыл бұрын
@albo warrior incorrect. Our skulls do grow and change. Male babies for example do not have big brow bones while adult males often do have them. Our skulls do obviously change. That's how you can regonize someone is a kid for example or a full grown man. The shape of the bones determines that. You might argue that this is becasue the face gets more mature. However, what makes hte face look more mature when growing up >> BONES.

So I know I’m not a guy but I thought I’d put this out here: balding is genetic and is passed down through maternal grandfathers, meaning if your mom’s dad is balding, you’re going to bald as well. If you know your family history and happened to get to know your grandfather in that side of the family, that might be a good indicator of whether or not you’ll experience baldness. I hope that helps some, and if I’m wrong please correct me!
@fbj1223
@fbj1223 2 жыл бұрын
The whole maternal grandfather thing is an old wife's tail. If that was true every single brother in every single family will experiece hair loss at the same pace but that is not the case. The main gene associated with balding is on the x chromosome, but there are over 200 genetic variations that account how much hair you will lose at what pace and at what age. Only 10% of men keep their juvenile hairline and density for life. Even less a so called "Norwood 0" with full density. Most men even if not considered bald will at least get to a Norwood 2 with a decrease of density year by year. Every man is born with 100 000 hair follicles. It isn't untill you've lost 30 000 of them for you to notice a cosmetic differenceand even more for other people to notice. So if you have a low sensitivity to androgens and in 60 years you've just lost 1000 hair follicles your hair will look exactly the same as when you were 16. In conclusion all men who have testosterone in their body experience hair loss. The extend to witch is dependend on your genes. This is an interesting article on hairloss if your interested: moreplatesmoredates.com/hair-loss-guide-for-newbies/
