Hello my loves,
I'm back after a short break with a simple recipe. These are Wienerle croissants, easy to make and perfect as a snack for parties.
For this we need the following ingredients:
1 roll of puff pastry
4 wiener sausages
80g grated cheese
2 tablespoons ketchup
Cut the sausages into 3 equal pieces. Roll out the dough and cut into strips as wide as a piece of sausage. Spread the ketchup and cheese evenly over the strips. Twist the individual pieces of sausage into the dough strips with one turn and separate them from the remaining strips with the knife. Press the cutting edge firmly so that the roll does not unravel. Make three light incisions of about 1 cm on the top of the croissants. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg yolk and place the baking tray in the preheated oven (180 degrees). After about 20 minutes, take the croissants out of the oven and enjoy.
