When my wife and I were dating, we went to my dad's for Christmas. I convinced her to play SC with me and my Dad. 3v5 comp on bgh. She had never played before, but by the end of the game, she had half a dozen bc's. I was so proud and knew it was meant to be.

I remember when I was 13 and showed my dad how to play Starcraft, he killed his own building by mistake and noticed just in time for it to blow up. Then later when he was joining 1v1 lobbies a korean guy said "sorry, you too low, boot out you" and he got booted from the lobby. My dad tried to do a voice impression of a korean guy saying that while quoting it haha.

I remember the first time I ever played the Starcraft demo, back in 1998... I started the tutorial mission, and while trying to figure out what all the units and buildings on the screen were, I ordered my SCV to attack my Supply Depot. Then I watched it single handedly destroy the depot.

the double click thing is a pain for me too tara! It's ok i refuse to do it and instead you can ctrl left click to select all units of the same type on screen. I thought that's how everyone did it cause double click rarely works for me. This is cool though,we've all been a rts noob and tried to teach a noob and went through this experience. It's not like learning other games,you didn't do bad!

@coryallen2863 Sometimes the OS can get stuck when you alt tab in, especially when using screen recording software. Tapping the key usually fixes it
