This is seriously my favorite Lego game out there. I'm really hoping for a sequel, the game's ending pretty much demands a sequel...

I was skeptical when this started at e3, but by the end i was grinning. Looks great.

What a fantastic game that me and my cousins each take turns playing. Miss the good old days 😢. I just don’t get that same feeling anymore when playing video games. I remember I would love playing Pokémon omega ruby with my friends and other games and it felt so good. Now I buy every new Pokémon game that comes out hoping for that same feeling but never comes back

It's like an updated, modern LEGO Island game but the world is FREAKING HUGE. I LOVE IT. :D

I had my doubts when I first heard about this game, but seeing it in action today, it probably became one of my favorite things in Nintendo's presentation.

A character who actually mentions pointless rooms and randomly placed objects? Lego, you've got my vote!

LEGO GTA is an underrated gem of GTA and LEGO mix (I play it on Switch and it feels like the Wii U version lol)

Taking place in the vast Lego City, players play as an undercover cop named Chase McCain as he goes on the hunt for criminals. Chase has various moves at his disposal, such as swinging across poles and performing wall jumps. He can also gain disguises that give him additional abilities, such as a robber disguise that lets him break locks. Chase can also pilot vehicles such as cars and helicopters and use loose bricks to build various objects.

I Love how at 1:46, the guy driving the car doesn't even seem to notice that an undercover cop just pounced someone with a red afro, who then exploded into money. Yep, just a normal day in Lego City...

Exactly what I'm thinking. I grew up with Lego Island 1 and 2 and this game reminds me a lot of those two games. It's the first original Lego game in a very long time so this has to be bought. :D

Me too. They haven't said anything concrete about co-op, which surprises me at this stage in development. Co-op has always been a major part of my Lego gaming experience.

It is a brand new console and the wii u controller has been emphasized ALOT! At last years E3 everyone was confused over whether it was a new console or not. At the E3 that just passed they made sure that everyone knew that it was a new system by showing the controller and the system together.

they didint speak back in old lego games they just made weird expressions and sounds, but its pretty cool that now the mini figures speak :D

That is what I've been thinking... Christmas would be perfect for this type of game. Especially with the Lego Minifigs that come included with early copies.

Theres references to many other things as well (Start : GTA , 0:26 and near end : Prince of Persia , 0:32 Ninja Gaiden , 0:33 Bionic Commando , 1:24 The Matrix , 'K.o" at 1:35 was from Street Fighter 4 .) And thats just the ones I can name!

either the map isnt going to be as big as everyone hopes or theyre keeping the trailers limited to a small portion of the map, because that San Francisco style road is seen multiple times throughout both trailers and you can only see a small portion of the bottom left hand side of the map when it shows Ellie talking on the gamepad.

I bought this and ZombiU as my first Wii U games. I also plan on getting Sonic Lost World and Super Mario 3D World before Christmas, and Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. Wii U in 2014 and, whenever it may be, the next new Zelda Wii U game, and that's just so far. The Wii U looks like it's going to be an awesome system this gen!

Got all the Star Wars Legos and I've tried the demos available on XBL - now this is a must have! Lego games have improved so much over the years :D I remember playing the pizza delivery game which was a crime busting free roamer.

Lego Batman 2 had voice acting, and even Lego Island 2 had voice acting :D But this is a must have.

I haven't played the original Lego Island so I wasn't sure. And didn't check it. And yes it was a norm back then, but you do realize that it is a 16 years since the original and 12 since the sequel. That's a long time in gaming. The main audience for current Lego games might have not been born when the Lego Islands were released.
