The last one is a reference to a twilight zone episode “To Serve Man” SPOILERS Aliens come to earth and fix all of humanity’s problems seemingly without reason. They leave a book behind and humans can only translate the title “to serve man” They eventually figure out it’s a cook book and they’re raising humans like cattle

Kind of surprised my parents let me watch Futurama when I was young. Funnily enough 'A Fish Full of Dollars' is up as one of my favourite episodes. I especially like the quote at 2:20

Futurama has “mature” themes, not necissarily “adult” themes In the sense that a mature show has storylines only adults would be interested in while adult shows have humor only adults would get I think Futurama has the type of humor that by the time a kid understands the jokes/story they’re old enough to watch it Idk I’m just thinking about Futurama compared to family guy and even though I watched Family Guy as a kid I wouldn’t let a kid watch it, but I’d be okay with my kids watching Futurama.
