What's cool is that Cory Wong and the horn section is in Minnesota and Dirty Loops are in Stockholm Sweden then it is spliced together. It really looks like they are in the same studio!!

What I love about DL is their music captures the average listener with great music but it also captures the musicians like you and I with their sheer talent. A fun one to react to is World On Fire. I also love Bitten By The Kitten.

Unfortunately i really dont think many ”average listeners” get into DL. They play what we call music for musicians :) love them though (im a musician)

I wish you were right. But no, the average listener gets nervous by them breaking down the boundaries. Most people rely heavily on those boundaries. They have different sections in their brain for different genres and don't know how to react when it all comes together.

Great reaction guys! Cool way they made this video too. DL did their part in Stockholm, Sweden and Cory and the band did their part in the US. They never met....

pretty sure you guys are big fans of Dirty Loops. there are a ton more songs from them that you would like. try these: Roller Coaster, Forever Young, Circus, my fav The Way She Walks, Automatic. Enjoy. I will be seeing them live next week in Montreal !!!

Due to Covid this was recorded remotely with the 3 Loops in one location and everyone else at different studio. Amazing!

Great to hear you getting back to DL on the channel. Also glad to see that Dee is feeling better. Dee, they are definitely a group and have been active since @ 2008 and have three albums, the last one called Turbo was released last year and is a collaboration with Cory Wong and his band. That’s why the band is bigger for this song. ❤🔥

Dirty Loops is the Drummer Bass Player, and the singer is in Sweden the horns and Cory Wong the guitar player is in Minnesota The video is then spliced together. Cool huh!

Just a couple of notes. This is a collaborations between Corey and crew (left screen) and Dirty Loops (right screen). When this song was recorded neither group of musicians had ever met in person. During the recording Corey and crew were in Minneapolis and Dirty Loops were in Stockholm, Sweden. Makes the flow and "jam" even more amazing. Aron and Corey did most of the homework on how to pull the video off. Think they did one hell of a job.

Absolute FIRE as always!! The horn section and Corey on guitar are "additions" for this song, I haven't seen the horns play with DL before, but Corey has once I know of. The horns are fantastic but honestly if you eliminated Corey on this song, I doubt anyone would even notice it.

DL are the three on the right (Jonah piano/keyboard/singer, Aron drums, Henrik bass guitar). Cory plays rhythm guitar, the amazing brass section is called the Horn Heads, I think, they tend to play with Cory. DL plays a jazz festivals and the likes, such as The World Heritage Jazz in Söderhamn this past summer (amazing).

Great reaction, guys, and I love how both of you appreciate those musicians. This is such a banger of a tune! There also is “Turbo” from the same album, an instrumental without Jonah singing, but still, a killer track! Then I’m sure you’ll also enjoy “World on Fire” by Dirty Loops :) Sooo many other mind blowingly good tunes, but these could be next… Enjoy ☺️

I’m sure there are more skilled musicians somewhere, although it’s not really my bag to look them up. But what’s unique about Aron and Henrik, I think, is they’ve played together since they were teens - and still play together. They share a sense of time at a level so detailed that you would probably have to use machines to replicate it. In some sense it is scary. And in another it’s just mind-blowing. Top musicians are a bit like cats, they roam the world and rarely stick together like Aron and Henrik do. And that's why the rhythm section of DL is such a punch to the gut.

In case you are interested in watching recordings of live performances by Dirty Loops, you should check out these two: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r6uYnaxhuNOnfH0.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mMqDg7VoptGlmas.html The first one is a cover of “Just Dance” (Lady Gaga) and the second one is a cover of the winning song “Undo” in the Swedish Melody Festival 2014. Both performances are productions of and recorded by the Swedish national television. It is worth noticing that the guy who is playing backup keyboard and doing some backup singing in the first video, is Simon Petrén who is usually doing most of the mixing and productions for Dirty Loops (Simon is therefore sometimes referred to as member #4 of Dirty Loops).

Check Victor Wooten for more incredible bass playing. If I had to guess, I would say Henrik Linder emulates Victor's style.

Actually, they shot themselves and they are on the right side. The back drop was premade and the other band is on the left sidew. Look closely. And the two parts were shot differently. And also. Mohini Dey and Federico Malaman are Henrik Level Easily.

Pay attention to the splashes aaron is playing during Henrik's solo towards the end of it. It's clver as shit. Those splashes make that solo possible. It would sound like shit without them. Like they rely on each other. Hearing how you like bass players, you should probably check out Sam Wilkes. That kid is something rare and special when it comes to funk bass. He's like i dunno like a 2.0 version of Pino Palladino. Sam is in a bunch of projects, but I'd start with Overtime by Knower. Sam's rediculous on that track. Flea has been quoted more than once saying in interviews that Sam's his favorite bass player right now. I'll just leave it at that.
