I still watch these older videos. It’s crazy fun to watch older videos and see things I’ve missed when I seen them for the first time. That mystery fish is a Blue Spotted Sunfish! Awesome mixed bag video #BlueGabe ps I absolutely respect that tough love with Luke! Our parents probably would have been a little harder but one way or another they gonna learn today! I also appreciate the true love you showed after with the high five and cookin on a stick!! It’s whats need in our world today to build character and respect for our elders and people around us…

Your a great father and I respect the way your raise your boys. I live in Jacksonville Florida and I was hunting squirrels at the age of 5 with a browning semi auto .22 and a .410 single shot. And graduated to deer hunting at the age of 8 with a 30.30 marlin lever action and a single shot 20gauge. And finally got my first pump 20gauge at 10 years old and first Remington 700 BDL 270win a year later. If I wasn’t hunting and scouting I was fishing and flounder giving with my dad. My dad would take ever summer off and we would take our camper to fort George island and we would target fish for flounder, trout, and red bass most of the time and certain months we would fish for sheepshead and Spanish mackerel when they would come true. In order for my dad to afford to take the summer off we would take all the fish that we caught and drive back to the west side of Jacksonville and sell the fish by the pound to people and that would fund all our fishing , fuel, and other bills. My father passed away when I was 13years old but he taught me so much about living off the land, building cabins, traps, farming, and never say you can’t do something because you can do anything the next person can do if you just try and put your mind to it. I have 6 kids now and I’m 40 years old. It breaks my heart that only two of my children want to experience the life that I known growing up. The others are to into video games and other indoor things. I don’t know where I went wrong but I’m happy to see that other men are spreading the life that I cherish so much. I would love to meet you one day and maybe go fishing with y’all. Every video I watch of you and your family brings back so many memories of me growing up it just brings tears to my eyes. Maybe one day his will let out paths cross and I could meet you and your family and forever be friends . I work out of town a lot doing shut downs on power plants and paper mills but while I’m home I do alot of tree removals and I’m also a certified master mechanic. So I’m pretty much a jack of all trades which my dad always told me to always expand your knowledge and try to master everything you do. So I’m a automotive master mechanic, tube welder, journeyman boiler maker, and an arborist. So if you need any help with anything just hit me up and I’ll be glad to make the trip down to help out. Mike brown 904-614-4452.

You’re a great dad and you’re teaching them how to live right and to be able to survive on their own if they had to. Kudos to you Gabe! Too many people coddle their kids and allow them to survive online only. They can’t be without some device to entertain them. That’s just sad. These kids have more knowledge already than most will have by age 30! That’s what is wrong with our country. Glad to see you being such a good dad

This video by Blue Gabe is a wild and fun adventure, combining hunting, fishing, and the outdoors in a way that’s both entertaining and educational. From setting up crawfish traps and catching eels to the excitement of deer hunting, it’s a great mix of activities that showcases the unpredictability and thrill of nature. The camaraderie between Blue Gabe and the crew, along with the light-hearted moments (like the story about broken legs and unexpected mishaps), keeps the energy up and makes you feel like you’re right there with them. It’s not just about the catch and cook; it’s about the journey, the laughs, and the memories made along the way. Perfect for anyone who loves outdoor adventures and a good time in the wild!

Gabe, watching the catch & cook videos from you guys down in Florida is like a vicarious vacation to me here on the wet coast of Canada (coastal British Columbia). I grew up in southern Ontario on a riverfront property and seldom wore shoes in summer. Just had to watch for leeches and snapping turtles in the water, and horse chestnuts and sharp gravel driveways on land. So it's fun to watch you and your brother Robert going barefoot in some pretty sketchy situations.

When you wrote 'they called and said Tarzan got one' made me think about how great today is, not that the past was bad, but I can recall being dropped off in a "pickup" floating duck blind by my dad, and my brothers in the main blind about 400 yards away, then he would take off for an hour or so, and we'd have ducks down with no way to retrieve them. He'd drive by another quarter mile away and we'd try to hail him, but he couldn't hear over the outboard. My brothers threw buckets and boat cushions in the air, but to no avail. We had to stop hunting at noon on the lake, so we would spend the next hour picking up the stuff and any ducks the turtles, hawks, eagles, and gators didn't get. We lost at least 6 dead ducks and 2 buckets over the years, but few cripples - even though my dad wore coke bottle glasses, that man could spot a duck in the bushes or low swimming in the stobs better than any dog could! Point being if cell phones existed and were affordable in the 70s and 80s, we would have more ducks, but less the ones that got away stories.😉 Eels have gills, do the things in your traps must be lizards if they drown. *As for road snacks, sesame sticks are mine. They don't leave "flavorings" on your fingers or steering wheels. If we go a certain direction, a stop for beignet fingers is mandatory, per the wife, and then we look like cocaine junkies with powdered sugar all over🤭 until we pull out the baby wipes to "remove the evidence".

I have to give it to ya, i truly enjoy these hunting vids of yours. Live like half way cross the world, in viking land (Sweden), and our wild life of course is way different to yours. So i take great interest in seeing the differences. Thank you :D

BG, you could toss every dollar you ever made in a fire and you'd still be one of the richest men I've ever known. That's the good stuff.

It is great to see that your deer camp and land is getting put back together and also to see your mom and in your videos. Your mom is great she had that little dinosaur and showed it to Luke and Luke busted out the biggest smile I've seen on his face really quick and then the smile was gone. Just like a chupakabra . yeah Im not sure how you spell it myself
