Led by LeBron James’ 35 points (13-19 FG), 11 rebounds and 7 assists, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the L.A Clippers, 130-125, in overtime. Anthony Davis (27 points, 10 rebounds) and D’Angelo Russell (27 points, 6 assists) added a combined 54 points for the Lakers in the victory, while Kawhi Leonard (38 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists) and Kawhi Leonard (35 points, 6 rebounds) combined for 73 points for the Clippers. The Lakers improve to 3-2 on the season, while the Clippers fall to 3-2.
Russell Westbrook joins LeBron James as the only players in NBA history with at least 24,000 points, 9,000 assists and 8,000 rebounds.
Since the Clippers moved to LA, this is the 2nd time in a Lakers-Clippers game there has been 3 30+ scorers in a game:

Reaves came up big in the 4th and OT and surprisingly played the closer this game. Nice to see him get back in rhythm after struggling out the gates this season.

So AR 15 posessions in OT: And 1 in the lane Strips Kawaii leading to Fast Break assist to James Mid range pull up Makes two free throws Drives in the lane, drawing in defense, kickout to wide open cam redish which ultimately leaves Wood open for put back. Got to give credit where it is due. Dude came up big in OT.

Don't hate on Russ, a lot of the problems he had in a LAL uniform was not his fault. They just didn't have a good roster, plus James and Davis (mainly Davis) were out A LOT!

Lakers Starters should be: C- Wood, PF - AD, SF - Bron, SG - AR, and PG- DLO Bench should be: C- Hayes, PF - Vando, SF - Prince, SG- Rui, and PG - Gabe Honorable mentions: Max Christie and Cam Reddish should get some minutes too. AD needs to play PF because he's unmotivated to play Center thus the inconsistency we see from him at times.

I am so happy the lakers finally defeat clippers since 2020 in the nba bubble. I saw the entire fourth quarter but when I saw Paul George getting fouled at the end of the fourth quarter and he stepped up to shoot free throws, I was hoping he would miss at least one free throw or all of them so the lakers can take the lead and win the game, but he didn’t and they went to overtime and I just turned of the tv when he finished shooting the free throws because I assumed that the lakers could lose but a few minutes later my dad tells me the lakers won 130 to 125 against clippers and I went to go check the score and I was happy to hear they finally won. But even though they won. Root for the la lakers and not the la clippers in a game like this( especially a laker home game)

Look at the sideline official that calls the foul on Reddish on PG's 3 point attempt. He has his arm signal up for a 3 point attempt, and once he sees that PG missed it, he then changes his signal to a foul call and blows the whistle for 3 free throws. How does that even happen?? You see it all the time on drives to the basket but never on a 3 point attempt.
