It is interesting to see the differences, because it shows what humans wanted: More petals, less thorns. The wild roses however, well, I suppose they just did not want to get eaten 😊

Love the fact that we were already capable of directly changing the "natural" evolution of plants 12000 years ago. I mean it started simple and someone finding the pattern is inevitable, but it further shows how different we are from other animals. Not inherently special, just unique.

Wild roses only bloom once - they have 5 petals and smell heavenly 🌸
