A TRIP OVER THE BORDER ON THIS, NO IDEA WHERE OR WHAT I WAS DOING, ABSOLUTELY WINGING IT, I FOUND THIS HILL ON THE MAP AND WENT FOR IT, FORGOT MY SOULO. LUCKILY I KEEP THE STAIKA IN THE VAN SO I USED IT. A SHORT HIKE (ABOUT A MILE) BUT DEAD STEEP ESPECIALLY AT THE END. IM UNSURE AS TO WHETHER CAMPING IS ALLOWED UP HERE. BUT IT WAS DONE. ABSOLUTE BEAST OF A SHOWER HIT ME JUST AS I WAS PITCHING, MY GOPRO ISN'T WATERPROOF WITH THE ATTACHMENT SO I HAD TO PUT IT AWAY, I WAS DRENCHED. A MIXED BAG OF WEATHER, SO VERY EVENTFUL. Quality camp and top location mate. Send more beers - you need 9 cans next time. Never mind the beer haters - drink MORE. Send heat proof gloves. Send Staika. It's the season of the Tsetse fly now so watch out, the larvae are emerging from their underground burrows. Nice watching the showers head in - always enjoy watching that. Boosh. Wig. Wind rope. PS, zips were a bit noisy and condensation issues. You're better off with a Kuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiuiu.

Lived in Glenrothes from 60's until the 80's - spent most of my childhood exploring the Lomond Hills - East Lomond (Falkland Hill) is my favourite of the two - such an imposing sight from all over Fife. Thanks for the memories!

Great little camp that fella with some stunning views like. Its a pleasure to watch and you cracks me up everytime. Did you find that pot of gold by the way.. I am liking that sleeping bag,Is that different to the other one you had. I am thinking its a great bag that should cope all year round and if too hot unzip it.. Its gotta perform better than my oex fathon 2 that is not 2 season in my opinion. I would have to zip myself up like a mummy. Army meals look great and no mess to wash up.. Cheers mate. The bag is by the same company. It’s sold as a 3 season down bag. The rectangular shape gives you more “wiggle room” which I like. It’s not quite April weather fit. But that’s only cos it’s been terrible m. I reckon early May to September it’ll be great. Packs away small too. Always a bonus. Cheers for watching. Atb. 👍

Staika looking good there. I was out in the Allak last weekend, still bloody cold though. You did the right thing with the skin tag mate, if something is annoying you, get it to fuck. Falkland is great, hope you enjoyed the visit. 👍🏼

😂classic line that. It’s a staika mate. Black label yeah. It’s a beast. No guylines it was hardly moving. I’ve only got 2 😂 The rat pack was lovely. I’m using them again. And yeah the plasters off now. I’m hoping it heals well. It’s only a red mark at the moment 👍 Atb mate.

Just beside Falkland is Freuchie (pronounced Froo-key) where there are fantastic cricket grounds in each. The palace in Falkland is well worth visiting and the village itself featured in the early episodes of Outlander.

Great camp Andy and great spot. From a fellow Soulo owner, do u know what the small hooks are for on the inner door, right side as u look out, noticed them on mine the other night and couldn’t figure out what they for.

😂 I get condensation in a tarp and bivvy. It’s hard to get it across. The hilleberg condensation fable is out there. I’m past caring tbh 😂😂 they can live in their own world. As for those zips. 😂😂 I never slept for 8 hours straight at all for the noise 😂😂 Atb. 👍
