After a long walk through the forest accompanied by rain and thunder, I arrived at the campsite and immediately began to build a shelter using a tarp.
After setting up the shelter, I made ready coffee,
I made a fire pit suitable for the fire and after making the fire pit, it was time to collect firewood from the forest.

I really enjoy these bushcraft videos but it seems a lot of them are centered on gadgets and techniques that are not realistic in a survival situation. I think this video addresses how to cope when the elements are trying to kill you

Best ? No. The best shelter for rain is one you can put up quickly. A tarp with a quick deploy Ridgeline and a few stakes is what you want. Cool shelter setup nonetheless
