Spurs have 5 games whereas other have 3 in the next 3 gameweek, while DGW 35 is not great DGW37 is good and buying spurs players now will be cheaper compared to when buying for DGW37

I think the way to squeeze Gordon in means Vicario, Gusto, Gordon, Foden, Onana, Schar instead of: Petrovic, Burn, Maddison, Garnacho, Ederson, Trippier Hard to say which is better but that seems to be how the pieces fit together best. Double Spurs defense instead of midfield, but gain Gordon and Foden mainly. Let's see how the week goes and Haaland news!

Just because they have double gw…Also with these fixtures noo way. Gvardiol surely rotated with Ake now, back from injury. Ederson?! Never ever. It’s always a trap. Man United guys for Christ sake, they’re not constantly scoring points and Idk why people get so excited about their fixtures, they’re as bad as the team, you can’t be serious with Bruno & Garnacho 🤢🤮

I reckon the 1st option mate. I’m doubtful of Petrovic as it seems Sanchez could get games when he’s back. I’ve gone for Onana and Vicario as they rotate well and both get lots of save points. Gordon and Foden have much higher upside compared to Garnacho and Maddison for me.

Gordon over Maddison, I've felt so bad holding Maddison since WC in GW30, he's done absolutely nothing and I don't expect him to do much in the future either. I would remove trippier for cucurella/ gusto (pending injury in semi-final) and get rid of Jackson for Hojlund. Cucurella has looked the best I've seen him in a chelsea shirt recently.

It's definitely advantage WCders with injuries already coming in for those that don't even have a game. Udogie for example, is owned by approximately 10,000 managers in the top 100K who thought they'd have him in place for the DGW but is now just a -4 (actual or opportunity cost) glaring at them on their team planner. Unfortunately, I part of the latter group 😅.

Thanks for the video Oscar! I'm on wildcard too and I added Jackson and Petrovic. Not so sure now given how Chelsea got battered by Arsenal. I also went for Dalot but Man Utds defence seeems pretty leaky. Any thoughts on alternatives?

Maddison and Jackson will be lucky to get 4 points just from appearance in gw35 (assuming no cards), Salah and Watkins could get 15+ points from their easier fixtures. It's not really worth bringing in players who are blanking just because they have 2 fixtures. That's just my opinion though and good luck with the wildcard!

I also am wildcarding. I absolutely buy your Newcastle rationale, but I'm not so confident in the Spurs investment given how tricky half of their fixtures are going to be! (You haven't steered me wrong though so maybe I should not lose faith now! ;-))

My main problem with Jackson(there are loads) is that he is blocking a third Chelsea spot. Would rather go Petrovic-Gusto-Palmer, but that means Vicario..

I’m building my team around keeping Salah. He has too much haul potential to leave out and now that Liverpool are out of Europe he should get the rest he needs. I will then transfer him out in 37 for a doubler and then possibly straight back in for the final game week

Cheers Oscar, even having no chips (bar bench boost) this is super handy. Currently I’m thinking Saka or Salah to Son and Solanke to Isak. Current squad is: Leno, Dubravka Burn, VVD, Udogie, Gabriel, Gusto Saka, Salah, Palmer, Eze, Garnacho Haaland, Muniz, Solanke Reckon it’s possible to go without either Salah or Saka for the rest of the season? My current transfer strategy is the above, then Salah/Saka to Foden in 36, followed by Udogie and Muniz to Pedro Poro and Jackson (maybe) respectively in 37 with bench boost.

Initial thoughts on the team: Feel like Schar, Gusto, Foden, Gordon and a new st is MUCH stronger than Burn, Trippier, Maddison, Garnacho, Jackson. Doubling up on newcastle defense is very risky and the offensive players are all very inconsistent picks

Double gameweeks are overrated. With rotation, they don't produce many more minutes than single gameweek players. A top quality single gameweek player can outscore a double gameweek player.

Cost opportunity while one player may out score a dgw player if you have 6 dgw you are more likely to get more points compared to single gw players

One thing I have learnt in fpl over the years is that triple captain can be used in any gameweek. Does not really have to be a double.

Spurs dbls looks like a trap most experts WCs seems to walk into, blinded by the minutes. They face CHE, ARS, MCI n LIV. With PP and UDog out they will neither defend or attack very well imo.

I would rather drop Maddison for Gordon tbh, this DGW35 feels more like a trap, both teams have difficult games. Don't think it's worth going all in with triple Chelsea and triple Spurs on the WC. I think it would be smarter to use this WC in order to build a stronger team for DGW37. Some good, strong picks in this team. Good luck Oscar!

It’s also the DGW37 which makes it worth tripling up for DGW35 despite it not being the best. Think you’ll be surprised most wildcarders will have triple Spurs and Chelsea! I might lose Jackson for Hojlund though
